App does not work AT ALL when inputting delivery address
I don’t know if the app only works if you are in the same location or what the issue is but I have been trying to order cookies to be sent to my son’s dorm and the app just searches forever and never returns results. I have tried the street address, have tried starting with the dorm name, the school name, even just entered the city and it still can’t find anything. The website is worse and just returns a network error no matter what you type in. I set up an account on the app and now it won’t let me sign in because it says the captcha was not entered correctly. There is no captcha. The app is a piece of garbage. I don’t know who designed it but nothing about it works at all. I guess we won’t be sending Insomnia cookies and we will just use something else. Too bad because these are his favorite. This app is completely useless.Show lessadelle63
Best App Ever - Fight Me
I literally have access to an app that brings me hot, freshly baked cookies to my front door within 20-30 minutes. That is insane. And the way the purple graphics work on here is playful and unique. This is seriously one of the easiest-to-navigate apps out there. Love that little feature where you can checkmark whether you want them to bring a spoon or not for your ice cream. Saves me a trip to the kitchen. Tracking my cookies is also the cherry on top. Excellent app. God bless.Show lessShayla Raquel
I detest this app
Let me just say how much I hate this app. There is a helpful GPS feature that auto-populates your delivery address. It always gets my address wrong. Then I have to manually type my exact address in.
If that alone was it then that would be a minor annoyance but what happens is that GPS kicks in again after you go to the next screen to finalize your order and….changes it to the wrong address….
Then I have to change it again. And again. Like three times until I submit it and then must make sure the submitted delivery has the correct address.
The most recent order I did NOT catch and I had to then call Insomnia to have them manually change the address of my order to prevent it from going to the wrong place.
Now I have great neighbors. Very honest who will walk a package over to me if it’s misdelivered, but cookies….no way. The temptation is too great.
So Insomnia. Fix your overzealous app and stop it from constantly trying to deliver my orders to the wrong address!!!Show lessdemishadow

This app does not work and the website isn’t any better. I decided to try and change my payment method so I could renew my cookie magic. It won’t let me. The number pad just stays up instead of letting me confirm. So I went to the website. There’s no option to change my payment method on the website. So I added cookie magic to my cart. I added my payment method in the cart. I clicked “place order” on the cookie magic subscription “customer card cannot be found” I made the mistake of clicking again because it didn’t make sense; my card had money on it. I decided to check my bank account and they had put preauthorization charges on my account TWICE but did not renew my membership. It’s unacceptable that they make it so difficult to contact them about issues with the higher ups. Don’t use this app and maybe don’t even buy from the store.Show lesstuxedoKamen
Review for App - not cookies
These cookies are AMAZING. 5🌟. HOWEVER, I can only order them about 20% of the time I’m craving them because the app has so many problems. It used to be that the checkout page stalled. (I gave up on about 5 orders during this “era” of the app). Apparently checkout is fixed (per updated app notes) but now all prices are 0.00 and so you can’t even get to the checkout screen. Seriously this is such a good product - but the unfunctional app kills most of my would-be purchases. I was craving these yesterday and thought “ surely they’ll fix this issue by tomorrow“ After all it’s been nearly 24 hours. But nope., App is still not functional. 😢Show lesschristi1432
Cookies are awesome, app not so much
Probably the worst app I have to navigate because any others like this get deleted from my phone. It doesn’t save instructions, you have to re-enter information every order that should be saved. If you start typing in the order pages the keyboard will disappear all of a sudden after a few keystrokes. Custom tips can sometimes make you have to go back and start over because the return button doesn’t register. Super frustrating, I figured after a few years it would be fixed but still the same. 2 stars only because the cookies are the best! Shockingly bad for a company based on delivery
I use this app embarrassingly often, and each time I get more annoyed. Everything is fine until the checkout screen then it’s like pulling teeth to finish my order. No matter how many times I order and save the changes made to my address, I have to re-type the instructions back in every time. And the app tends to glitch as I’m typing. The keyboard will randomly close on me while I’m in the middle of typing. It’s very frustrating, I have to type my instructions in the notes app and paste it into this app because it just won’t let me use the keyboard for long enough to finish what I’m writing. After each section when I save changes it takes forever to load and let me continue scrolling down the page, and sometimes it won’t let me scroll down any further at all unless I scroll at a slow speed. The app works, technically, but it’s so frustrating that it makes me think twice about ordering. Less important but also annoying: tracking doesn’t work. It’s a useless feature. It just shows a hypothetical route between the store and my location. It doesn’t show anything useful that I wouldn’t get from google maps, it just says it’s being made until it arrives.Show lessbellsbeth
Sad and frustrating :(
Honestly, this is one of the worst apps I’ve used which is saying a lot in comparison to the awful games that come out sometimes. Unfortunately the app has too many problems to list, but I think the biggest one is that it actually doesn’t connect to your account at all, even when it says you’re signed in. In order to have your account working you need you email to be set up in your profile, yet you’re unable to add an email address even though it’s the only required piece of information. The cookie tracker doesn’t work at all. And recently, the app repeatedly says my card has been flagged for fraud when the purchase wasn’t even declined with my bank and it’s simply not true. It’s hard because the rest of the business is functioning well, but in this day and with their emphasis on delivery it’s hard when there’s no functioning mobile presence.Show lessClaire. S.
Good Cookies, Terrible App
The cookies are great, the app is a mess. There’s been several times that I’ve wanted to order cookies but literally wasn’t able to. Here’s just some of the issues I’ve had:
If you get logged out, there’s like a 50-50 shot on whether or not you’ll be able to log back in.
Today when I tried to order, I literally could not find a cart or checkout button. Like…I’ve ordered from the app several times, this wasn’t user error, it literally just *wasn't there*.
There have been several times where I’m trying to pick out cookies for a box and the list won’t pull up.
I genuinely do not understand how a company in 2022 that relies on food delivery has an app that is this bad. Spring for an app developer/app company that can make something that’s not just a lazy copy of your equally bad website. I promise you it’ll pay for itself when people can actually order your product.Show lesscas4946
I can’t order anything.
I spent 10 dollars for CookieMagic which I would’ve completely been fine with if I could actually order some cookies. Every time I submit an order I can’t have it delivered ASAP because I need to change the order to allow the cookies to bake, and if I change it to any other time, I still get red text telling me to move my delivery time by 15 minutes, and the time goes to 00:00, even if it is two days from now. I don’t really understand why, but also every single time I manage to successfully order, nobody is available to drive in the area and I get refunded, and I don’t get any notification on the app or by text, it’s just through my email. Either way, I can’t even rate the cookies because they haven’t refunded me the 70 dollars yet, and the UX on the app is extremely frustrating.
