I don't normally write reviews for games. However, in this case, it is well deserved. Not only is this game beautifully designed and written, with a cohesive storyline and excellent graphics, but the replayability value is immense - the game's hundreds of cities warrant many replays of your 80-day journey, each of which can take a few hours. The game mechanics are also excellent, with a "choose-your-own-adventure" style that fits perfectly with the story and additional factors, such as monetary constraints and ill health that provide fresh challenges at every turn. If you are looking for an action game, or the idea of a "game-book" and a primarily text-based adventure does not appeal, don't waste your money. However, if you want something to sit back, relax and have an adventure with, this game is truly a delight.
