Good app, good route planning, good sat-nav. Could be better though...
Overall, I love it and it’s well worth a try/buy.
In terms of areas for improvement:
(1) Sat-Nav should give guidance when you deviate from route. It’s too easy to miss a turn and then not pick up on it for a while. RE routing would help enormously.
(2) The route planning does a really good job, but sometimes takes road bikes onto some pretty un-road-bike-friendly terrain. Would be better if I had faith that it’d be smooth tarmac all the way.
(3) The omission of adding in stops to the first tier of subscription seems a bit mean.

Ride With GPS is the best
I’ve been using RWGPS for years. Creating a route is very easy and really helpful. Navigation on a ride is right on, and syncing with cycle computers is easy. I love the record keeping that lets me view my stats by month, year, and career.
Our club (The Lehigh Wheelmen) uses RWGPS as our preferred app for club rides. The club feature allows us to maintain a library of over 100 LWA rides. A very useful feature on club routes is the Tag option which helps members find routes from specific start locations.
The support team at RWGPS is the best in the industry, questions are answered promptly and in detail. I highly recommend RWGPS if you are looking for a cycling app.

Love RWGPS
Been with these guys from the beginning and seen a good site for planning and logging my long cycle rides move from brilliant to better than brilliant.
I’m a techno phobe how it all works is all ‘Harry Potter’ to me, but I can work it.
I use the site to plan or to get ride routes from other like minded long distance cyclists. These are easily married up to my Wahoo device. The only slight niggle is when planning do check using the orange man, that your route is actually where you want it. The site is for all cyclists and I have been met with a bridle way with my road bike!
So planning a distance event in an unknown part of the Uk has to be checked before you find your on the Dales Way instead of a lovely bit o tarmac.
But all in all. I couldn’t plan and cycle without these guys!

A standout - and constantly working on being good at one thing
It’s not perfect, it gets 5 stars for being the best and being committed to improving the service. Well worth the money.
Clumsy
I found the app better-designed in the past. The current version departs from principles of being clear or intuitive, using non-standard or obscure icons to navigate the app, then having no proper way to revert — route planning is one: options to start a new route, or load current route, and no ‘get me out of here, I was just seeing what that weird symbol does’. I don’t like Apple Maps for planning or viewing, and the web-version is superior for allowing Street View, and ESRI Topo.
Overall, the app is a weak and limited experience, counter-intuitive and awkward. But like anything, you can figure it out despite it being relatively inaccessible, and then you may find it the best option on a mobile phone. On an iPad, just use the web browser version for a far better and more effective experience.
Subscription value is okay, but not really very good.

Great Functionality
But..... I would rather pay a once off payment for the app . At the moment I pay $117AUD per annum! Very expensive. How about introducing a lifetime once off payment option? Or a once off payment with a nominal additional fee to download updates at users discretion?
Ridiculously Expensive
This is an app, not a service, so why do the developers expect people to pay monthly? If they asked for a one time fee of $10 I would buy the app, but I don’t want to pay $6 a month in perpetuity!
Excellent tool, with a few minor glitches.
Excellent for planning rides in unknown areas. There are some glitches, it refused to allow me to plan a route which involved crossing a main road at an unofficial, but locally recognised crossing point. In one way this was understandable as the access was originally barred by a fence which is now non-existent. On another occasion I was not allowed to plan a route, through a village, on the main road. Clearing the route and starting again solved the problem.

Bad navigation engine
The navigation engine for a city is not even close to do optimal itinerary for bikes. Even google maps does better with not having all the cycle path way. Can’t stream live hr from the Apple watch, only an average.
Strava sucks
This app is so much better because it doesn’t lie to you from the beginning
