Scam with Langkawi cable car tickets

Very disappointing experience with tickets for the Langkawi cable at. I bought 3 tickets just 1 hour before getting to the site. My tickets were denied and I had to buy 3 brand new tickets at full price. I was told my tickets were for Malaysia nationals. I contacted Headout but was denied a refund, even partial. Nowhere in the purchase process did it ask me to confirm I had Malaysian citizenship. I do not recommend this site.

Avoid avoid avoid

This company is horrible. We purchased two sets of tickets by mistake and they would do nothing for us. The agent I spoke to on the phone literally told me there disclaimers allow them to take your money and provide no support at all. No refunds or exchanges at all! Do not risk.

DO NOT USE

Use this company for booking a Paris catacombs experience. Paid extra for small grouping of 6 people and they stuck us in a group of 20+ people. Management was unavailable on lunch. Customer didnโ€™t care and told to look at T&Cs. No refund. Absolute terrible example of many good tour companies out there. Avoid in my experience and opinion of mismanagement and told customer dissatisfaction.

Better to book on official sites

Poor customer service, inflated prices, less flexible refund/credit policies. The app is glitchy with a poor UX

Terrible third party reseller

Booked two different tours with this company in Poland, one cancelled 2 days before and our second one the tickets were issued in the wrong language which we found out on arrival, do not use!

Dodgy

They force u to download app to download tickets which you pay for online. Avoid at all cost are dodgy and suspicious

international charges

This company bills from Berlin so the bank gives 3% international transaction fee

For example, if you book the Eiffel Tower, itโ€™s charged in Euros, and for the Kennedy Space Center, it's in USD. These international charges might come from your bank. A poorly designed, overly complicated app that doesn't work

These guys have NOT thought this app through! It is very complex to set up, requiring, phone, email, registration...

Then the app goes wild on the phone once it's opened, racing thorugh 4 or 5 screens in rotation, sometimes stopping on "open app?", almost like a slot machine. You have to close the app, then start again. BUGGY!

Worst of all, it seemed to have never occurred to the developers that most people will buy MULTIPLE TICKETS for dates, family, friends, groups, and there will be just ONE email associated with the purchase. Yet, you can only use the ONE email address to "register" the app to be able to download the audio guides. And there is no way to add email addresses so that people you bought tickets for can access the audio guides!!! So tell me, how is everyone else supposed to access the audio guide on their phones???!

What incompetent knuckleheads put this app system together?

After an intense amount of time and frustration, with a chat bot tech support, then finally an actual person, who just kept wanting the same info, I actually had to leave to go to the Prado Museum in Madrid, and just rented the audio guide there.

This app is a complete waste of time - even if it did work, it is WAY too complicated to set up and use.

Very poor customer service

We were unable to visit the site, the office would not pick up the phone despite numerous attempts to call them to advise that we were running slightly late

We arrived 10 minutes late & were advised that we had forfeited our tickets 160+ euros & that after I enquired about rescheduling it would cost another 78 euros

The staff were not helpful & quite frankly rude

I would not recommend this company & their 3rd party distributor to any potential customers
