Borderline fraudulent- Rome

We booked tickets to Rome’s Castel Sant Angelo through what looked like an official website which never disclosed it was Headout. Then, we were never provided with the audio guide information we paid for and were treated poorly by the so called “host.” The presentation of the website as official and the hiding of the fact that it’s a third party service seems sadly a bit common in Rome but that does not make it Ok. I won’t ever use Headout again for any services due to this misleading and ugly experience. On the plus side the visit to Castel Sant Angelo was great but it turns out we never needed anything from Headout to help us enjoy it!!

Buyer beware

I will not call it an outright scam.
They do take huge advantage of travellers
For example the ticket and audio would cost 7 Euros at Pantheon. They charged me thrice the rate. Also you have to go to another location and collect the ticket. Plus audio tour did not work.
They gave hop on hop off ticket for free for which I have to go to an office. I spent 3 hours searching and could not find one

They will not entertain any refund requests or even that for help. Huge disappointment

Love the application

I am really enjoying planning our 6 month RV trip using this application. Yes, it takes time to figure out but for the most part it is user friendly. I have quite a bit of computer application expertise though. As I learn it becomes more intuitive. I really like being about to text the trip itinerary to others.

Great Find

We are planning a road trip from Seattle to Nappa down the west coast and came across this app. It's awesome in that it helps plan your route, timing, miles between stops, navigation, things to see, accommodations, and more. There are some already established guides for one day and weekend getaways or plan your own. Tip: use the website for even more granular control over trip planning then use the app in the car. All around great app, this should win some design awards.

Really fantastic

I never write reviews, but this app has gotten me so excited about my road trip I am planning to take. It is a little confusing at times, but if you are good at apps then you will be just fine. It shows your route and the cost of gas!!! It is really cool and it's showing me a big picture of my trip!!!!!!

Beware of Currency Conversion charges !

The available Dubai offers are Good. The payment worked seamlessly and e-tickets worked well.
But the Currency conversion charges that appeared in the Credit card statement was a surprise! The discount savings that I got from the offer was significantly reduced after these charges. While booking, It was not clear what was the base currency of the site. I could have easily paid in USD with the same card and saved on the AED conversion charges.
The site should should mention their base currency on the payment page, so customers can choose which currency they want to pay.

Terrible experience. Hours wasted on vacation, no support or remedies from Headout

Where to begin…

Headout contacted me less than 18 hours before my scheduled tour to notify me it has been canceled.

They provided no options for rebooking as they canceled to late, and no other options were available!

I reached out through email, and never got a response. I waited 45 minutes for live chat, and they told me they couldn’t help, and would need me to wait for an e-mail update. I’ve spent 3+ hours of my vacation trying to get this fixed, and I paid over $100 for my tickets.

I work in support, and I can tell you this has been the absolute WORST experience with a customer support team. This is gross negligence, and it has ruined the last day of my trip to rome.

PLEASE STAY AWAY!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT VERIFYING THE TOUR FIRST, THEN WILL CANCEL SO LATE YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS.

If I could rate this company a negative 5-stars, I would.

Seville Cathedral tour

They ruined my only day inSeville. Firstly they did not issue a purchased ticket on time . After multiple attempts to contact them, they said my time slop if sold out and offered to choose another one. I did and again no tickets for two hours. When again after multiple emails, texts, what’s up messages I manage to contact someone, they advised the No time slots available at all!! Horrible experience, waste of time and money. Very disappointing…
