I don't use it for learning songs, but rather as a mobile keyboard. One thing, aside from the obvious ads, is that in the full keyboard view, the black notes are all wrong!! They are all shifted over one black note (e.g. To play an F# you have to press the G# key. Easily fixed, and easy to deal with once you realise, but frustrating!) Nevertheless, I will continue to use this program, as I have for a few years now. ### 1/5 — Lame *2015-07-06* The ads get in the way of the menu. This app appears to be unfinished because the learn to play piano option shows nothing but ads. All this app is ads and more ads. Apple's garage is way more fun then this app even though you don't learn how to play music on it either. Every time! Nothing is free. Most of the songs are recent pop. Nothing much else. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2015-05-16* The ads come up constantly, try to remove them and an ad pops up in front of the "Remove ads" option, I think it could have some potential if the developer thought a little more about ad placement or type of ads shown (ie. Not in the menu bar). Learning the songs isn't very good either, it just highlights the key, nothing about duration or how many time it needs to be hit. Uninstalled within 10mins of installing. ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2015-04-25, version 2.1.5* I bought the in app purchase to remove ads yet those horrible ads still keeps popping up every 15 seconds or more. The ones you can click out of after 4 seconds. Also another ad blocks the apps buttons so it's hard to use. There were no songs that I cared about, and only about two that I could stand. I tried to play one, and it was very clear which keys I had to play and in what order, but there was no sense of timing at all. Overall, I wouldn't recommend. ### 1/5 — What *2014-10-01* I don't get this app. Doesn't work ### 2/5 — Decent piano app *2014-09-30* The two features the app had are pretty half-baked. "Learn songs" teaches the basic melody of a few pop songs, while "full piano" features a full keyboard, accessed in sections at a time. The problem with the full piano is that certain keys play the wrong notes! Luckily the "learn songs" keyboard isn't plagued by this and can be used in the same manner as the full piano. It's unfortunate though that there are not enough keys to play a full g major scale, and I have yet to figure out how to keep the keyboard blank as opposed to having it highlight the notes to whatever song I've accidentally picked, but oh well, it's good enough until I find a suitable replacement. ### 4/5 — Neat, but *2014-07-20, version 2.0.5* There is no sound when I play ### 2/5 — Fix bugs please *2014-07-19* This is a great app but I can't listen to any music I play it comes up with a warning sign saying turn off silent but when I press the options bar it shuts down the app please fix these bugs up thank you :( ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Completely Unuseable *2023-10-21* Can't create any music at all. And, it would be better if you can search up the song you would like to learn instead of scrolling through the alphabetical order, and some of the letters on there are gone missing.
