Location indexing is now much faster. It uses only Photo Library dates and GPS metadata, without downloading photo or iCloud originals. Start with the most recent year and expand the range one year at a time. Unchanged photos are not reprocessed. Map search responsiveness and stability have also been improved.

Browse photo details faster with left and right navigation, and review comparison scores and quality insights more clearly.

Place Search now supports all dates, plus a private on-device location index built from verified EXIF data and JSON export. Your location data is never uploaded.
