Special shout out to those who also provide those details audibly as well. I plug my ears with this music at work daily and it helps me to focus and relax while learning about the music, composers being played at the time. So many wonderful hosts that are a pleasure to listen to. I listen to it if stuck in traffic. I chuckle when I hear MI traffic report reminding me of all the highways and roads I used to travel on for 20 yrs! I have even introduced this app/station to family in other countries! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Update: the last few weeks (sept/Oct), the app doesn’t hasn’t been working well. Music just stops or play button does nothing despite good connectivity. I am still learning about jazz, but I am thankful that they can both come together so that we can have a station that celebrates the making of music in Detroit. I love the mornings and evenings with Dave- having been inspired for lessons with my students by a piece I heard on my way in, in the morning, and in the evening, sometimes the traffic & day can be met with nothing but classical. I love the live concerts they offer, from the DSO- again, we are so blessed! My students have benefited from those too. The morning Sousa Alarm even has a special place in my day! On my iPhone 8, at irregular periods it will cut out, and I will need to open the application and hit “play” for it to come back. No other application seems to be causing this and I’m not losing connectivity to WiFi or data. No idea why it’s happening. The station will stop playing quite often. Sometimes it won’t even allow the station to play. You also can’t easily locate the play button.
