  • Best keyboard ever but..

This is seriously the best keyboard I've ever used. I tried them all: Gboard, Fleksy, Grammerly, Minumm, Apple's own keyboard and more, but I always come back to this one because it's just works so good in pretty much every category.
I have a small request though: if you can, please do something with the wasted space on the iPhone X, either eliminate it or do something useful with it (in the app settings there's no wasted space for example and that's nice).
Also, on 3D touch enabled devices, can you please do that moving the cursor up and down and not only left or right will be an option as well? I know that when you reach the end of the row it automatically does that, but it's not the most comfortable thing...
Another complaint I have is that the keyboard doesn't insert a space after things like a .,?! and that's pretty annoying.
Last complaint is that there's no long pressing a letter for options like ":()*% etc.

  • Hate it more than I Love It

The swipe feature was the main reason I downloaded SwiftKey. And I love that feature. I'm not into the whole customization aspect so I just picked a keyboard that looked most like apple's stock keyboard. The sizing and spacing was different so it took a little bit of getting used to. I tapped a lot of wrong keys in the beginning.

The word prediction and auto-correct is TERRIBLE. It is so frustrating to use. I'll type a very normal word that I have typed MANY times correctly and it will change it to some random word. It slows me down a lot. You'd think that the advertised feature that the app "learns your typing style to know what words you choose and use frequently" would actually work...but it doesn't....not even in the slightest.

I feel like I am too committed to switch back to Apple's keyboard or a different 3rd party...but overall, I hate this keyboard app way more than I love it. It slows me down a ton while trying to the something simple. Even the swipe feature will never give me the words I want. So yeah, I'm not a big fan unfortunately.

  • Brilliant

Hi first used swiftkey on a samsung s4 a few years back it was great. When this app first became available for iphone it was dreadful and in my opinion, unusable. Now full credit to the developers because they have taken all negative comments and feedback on board and have now developed a fantastic keypad! I find it easier to type with, it's smoother and although I use the stock colour I think they have added plenty of customisation for others. I moved from a 7 plus to the x recently and the cloud service ensured that my predicted words followed me. Just made he switch even more fluent! Keep up the good work!!!!!

  • Frustrating auto-correct

I use my iPad to write and I'm a football journalist. The Apple keyboard has clear prompts to when a word is going to be changed as the whole word is highlighted and the auto-correction appears above the world. On this app it appears just above the keyboard and it's not that clear. The amount of times I have to go back and change a footballers name back, then it doesn't even recognise that I've gone back and changed it as it changes the name again. It's infuriating when you write so many names of players that are typically English. Everything else is great though. I love the customisation we get and I'd love it if one day we could have our own animated themes either using a video, gif or live photo.

  • Having some minor issues

Sometimes the keyboard doesn't pop up in some apps in the latest ios update. So I end up having to use the crappy iphone stock one :(
  • Superior in every way!

After moving to apple from andriod a couple of years ago I downloaded the SwiftKey keyboard app. It was terrible and had very little support on iphone with the keyboard failing to pop up etc. However, I decided to give it another go this year (2016) and it has gone back to its best! The support is there for 99% of areas and I didn't realise how much I missed the swipe feature and how much better SwiftKeys predictive text is than the apple keyboard! It's amazing. Only thing I would like to see is a replica iOS keyboard skin either for free or for sale. As there is a limited number of keyboard skins available at the moment. I would also like to see force touch implemented into this keyboard better as it currently doesn't use the feature at all.

Totally worth the download - give it a chance and you will be typing so much quicker in days.

Update as of January 2017: after trying every keyboard on my iphone I am finding SwiftKey to be the best. I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here. I have had zero problems with SwiftKey since using it about a year ago. I'm using an iPhone 6s. It is still the go to keyboard on the iPhone and should be given a chance to prove itself.

    Update as of November 2017:
Afted a number of changes SwiftKey is back at the the ultimate ios keyboard! Now only if we could have SwiftKey access for lock screen and entering passwords, I would be soo happy!

  • I love this app buuuutttttt........

I love SwiftKey, and have had it for years now, buuuutttttt... Every now and then it seems like it forgets all words lol. For instance I will just type and show you the ridiculous predictions it makes... Seeley is they beat ladybirds applications I have asked to be ony phone fit this looks (years) Brevard it is bets than any other keyboards I have ever been able Fri use that actually does what I need it to do. Thus is turning out to be a bad example of the ridiculous words of will change my round into.... Sooooo, what I just typed (or tried to) is "SwiftKey is the best keyboard application I have allowed to be on my phone for this long (years) because it is better than any other keyboards I have ever been able to use that actually does what I need it to do. This is turning out to be a bad example of the ridiculous words it will change my words into"... You get the point. Just wonder why it seems to forget my words at random times. Makes typing longer and more difficult when I have to re-type every word over and over and OVER AGAIN. But other than those random points where it re-learns my style or regular English (lol), I do love this app.

  • Brilliant Keyboard

I've been using SwiftKey for probably about two years now. I find it very easy and reliable to use. The 'Flow' feature, allowing me to slide my fingers across the keyboard to spell words, rather than tapping on every key makes typing so much quicker.

Now, with the ability to customise it by using one of the photos I took myself (a brilliant sunset framed by the silhouette of trees) just makes it look magical.

Congratulations to the great work of the developers ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ซ

  • Best Usable Keyboard for iPhone

Absolutely swear by this app as it is the only keyboard modification app that actually works properly on my iPhone. Iโ€™ve paid for the full version. Worth every cent!
Only given 4 stars as I would like to see some more keyboards uploaded in the app, especially Christmas ones and other holiday type colors etc.

  • Great, smooth working keyboard but..

I love to use your keyboard everyday but thereโ€™s one problem that Iโ€™ve had since Iโ€™ve downloaded this app and thatโ€™s none of your keyboards have โ€œvoice to textโ€ option and every time I need to use it I have to switch back to the my original keyboard and itโ€™s kind of annoying, apart from that itโ€™s a really great app and Iโ€™ve recommended it to most of my friends already and they use it to, I think they agree with me and the voice thing as well.

Also update so we can use the new emojis.
