4.1.2

November 26, 2023

A followup elease aimed at adding icing to the EXERCISE ASSIST feature set. Editing reps: - Reps can be deleted or added directly from the bar graph. - We encourage users to delete and un-racking or re-raking movement. This will “TRAIN” the algorithm to ignore these movements in the future. - The same goes for any missed reps. Select these and add them back in and GymAware’s EXERCISE ASSIST will then do a much better job next set. Extreme Angle warning: - A warning was added for user that are lifting from the ground and they have placed the GymAware units more than 2 feet away from the barbell. - This will introduce measurement errors and we want to prevent users getting inaccurate results. Data recording: - Recording will now start within mm of the beginning of the movement regardless of whether the movement match with the exercise selected or not. Phase detection : - Some tweaks were added to ensure concentric and eccentric phases are marked as accurately as possible. Zero start position on tether: - User must have the tether fully retracted when they initially connect the GymAware to the iPad. - Incorrect zero warning will shown if this is note done correctly. - Again….This system is extremely accurate, but only if used correctly. Please enjoy!

Amazing app

It’s like a video game for weight training 😍

Fantastic piece of kit and user friendly...

Fantastic piece of hardware (LPT) and the app of this is really use friendly. I’ve used this with my weightlifting club and team sports athletes for monitoring fatigue and performance. I’ve also used this in a post graduate research project.

My only qualm that has put other clubs off buying this and also a bit of a let down for myself as a coach is the pricing of the software add on.
It would be great if there was either a one off charge or a different subscription offer to add extra players.
There doesn’t seem to be a big difference between free and paid app (hard to see the value of 500+ a year if you just want to add a few more players to your squad).

Think they are missing out on a lot of middle level sports clubs that would invest in the kit, if this were possible and would probably buy more than one. Or even first year reduced price.
