Listening since 1994. The app however is awful. It constantly reroutes me to the App Store and suggests downloads like I clicked on something. I understand KQ gets $ for ads, but come on. Very annoying. Also, if I close the App Store the podcast stops. Then when I reopen KQ app it has to reboot. Frustrating. It truly makes the podcasts unusable at times. Please fix so we can listen to Tommy uninterrupted. ### 1/5 — Constantly Crashes *2016-03-28, version 5.1.0* Start the app, watch the crappy forced ad, then when the broadcast starts, if you leave the app to go to your home screen or another app, the app either quits transmission or crashes and you have to listen to another ad or restart the app and watch another ad. UNLESS the phone is plugged into power, then the app stays running and you can go out of it on to other things. Pretty horrible coding if you ask me. Now you don't upload the new versions. Kind of pointless to even have this app when I can stream KQ on TuneIn with NO annoying video commercials. ### 2/5 — Poor App *2013-03-29, version 3.1.1* Lets see, a million commercials and an app that loses connectivity at least once every 30 minutes ( which makes you listen to more commercials upon restart) makes for a crummy experience. The app does pretty good with pod-casts, albeit with some hiccups, but forget about listening live. Won’t connect. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2023-06-22, version 8.8.0* When traveling I want to hear what is going on Minneapolis and now it requires that I hear ads local to wherever I am; it often plays ONLY ads and no radio show at all; it sometimes never opens. Poorly designed and hasn’t been updated in months…for. Communications company cumulus is not a Rockstsr! ### 1/5 — Frustrating app *2023-03-15, version 8.8.0* I don’t mind ads, but it runs two ads when you open and the second one will play several seconds after the first and play over what’s on the air. And the past several times I’ve opened the app it makes you accept the terms and conditions. How the F*** can a person abuse this app? Plus, it makes you scroll ALL THE WAY the bottom before you’re able to click accept. I can see doing this once, but it will randomly make you redo the process. None of this ever used to happen, all of a sudden about a month or so ago did the app turn to $#|+ ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2022-04-13, version 8.0.0* The worst app I have ever used. Aside from the stupid pop ups it randomly stops multiple times. I use it for a few hours to listen to morning show and get frustrated every time I use it. This app is getting worse and worse ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2017-07-11, version 5.2.4* I like to listen to the morning show in the afternoon on the way home but it is almost impossible with this app. When you get past the advertising and click on podcast and then click 1st segment, it will start playing and then the app store pops up with some stupid useless app and the after its up for about 15 seconds it stop the play of the podcast. You then get to start all over again to only have it happen again. Its worthless! Had to delete from phone and computer and download fresh. Now works well. I wrote the developers when it didn't work and never got any response. Crappy customer service. Someone said that it quit after a few minutes - touch arrow on side and then touch background. Then you get the ability to stream it in Safari.
