Not professional
Long story short I bought a dress and was expecting it to be delivered within a reasonable time for a wedding party coming up. I go into my app since I haven’t received any status of being shipped and my order was cancelled not even a noticed or anything. I call customer service and they weren’t any help apparently my sister that lives in the same address order something and she received something completely different and they were expecting it to be shipped back however they didn’t even bother to sent a return label and my sister did not sent it back why would she go out of her way and pay money to return it, is not even her fault she got the wrong item. Anyways just because of that none of us can order anything on the app because of that incident that wasn’t our fault . That is so frustrating and wrong and very unprofessional and I worked in big companies and what they did was not right.Show lessInaccurate Inventory- It is a Luxury Store but ..... are their business practices as such?
I love Anthropology. However, I placed 2 orders through the app. that initially were delayed because they were 'locating the product'. The product was then 'back ordered'. The notification also indicated that the expected shipment date had passed. I was hopeful that meant that the product had already shipped. I reached out to customer service and was told that they often sell items that have not arrived to the warehouse yet and that the product will be shipped once it arrives. I reached out to customer service again for clarification and I was then informed that were trying to locate the product in their stores and would receive an update within 72 hours. I got an update and 2 of my orders were cancelled by anthropology because they did not actually have the merchandise. So buyer beware. To try to make it right they offered free shipping on my next order. You already receive free shipping through the app on orders over $50. Is that luxury customer service?Show lessShopping Basket
I am homebound after knee surgery - enjoyed shopping the extra 50% sale - so many items to choose from - scrolling for st least 30-40 minutes - has several items in my basket - went to check out and 2 of the items in my basket were now listed at out of stock- I’m not sure that’s how you want to operate from a customer service point of view - it’s as if I were shopping in a store and had things in a basket I was carrying around as I shopped - then another customer can reach into my basket and grab whatever she wants . I was not done shopping - then when I went to check out it I couldn’t not realizing that in order to complete the check out I had to remove the items that were now out of stock from my basket - that took me about 15 minutes to figure out as I kept hitting check out and then called customer service and was on hold for an additional 10 minutes or so. My bottom line if I’m shopping and have things in my basket they should stay in there as they were in stock when I added them to purchase- my daughter and I add repeat customers - she worked in the Atlanta Lennox Mall store her senior year of college . Again… shopping while at work ( nurse ) came back after a break and one of my items in my basket is gone - !!!!! Frustrated- next time I will order each thing and have it shipped to a storeShow lessDeveloper Response
