  • Real vs. Not ?

Initially downloaded this app in their description they seem to be conscious about respecting client privacy, by not tracking number ofDifferent metadata on phone. But when you go into the fine print you see that the do not track claims are if not a lie, very heavily exaggerated. They do track, share data, all of it just like any company who benefits from your metadata. After reading a number of concerning reviews, I tried to delete the app and my phone started having issues immediately. Froze on the screen right after I clicked delete app data from phone. SMH welp time to wipe and get a new phone

  • Great crypto app

This app is really easy to set up and use - simple clear instructions when you first download it, and it’s really quick to verify identify for use.
Lay out of the app and visuals are great, one of the best crypto platforms i’ve come across so far.

  • One star is still too generous

Absolutely the worst CryptoWallet site that I have come across. In the beginning I used it several times for buying and sending bitcoin. I then went to withdrawal funds into my bank account when I got problems. I contacted support and after nearly a week I got a message saying that my account was locked. In order to unlock Luno requested a bank statement to reflect my luno deposits. I did this reluctantly and then after another week I got another message now requesting a selfie to verify my identity ( which I had already verified when I created the account.) Again another week and now I got another message saying the account is still locked and they wanted answers to several questions such as what I was using the bitcoin for etc. Been a month now and I still can’t get my own funds back into my bank account. So much for privacy

  • Withdrawal and deposit

When we will be able to deposit and withdraw in Nigeria? Other crypto apps are doing it through third party deposit. I got a mail recently that it would be available, I even had to run a KYC verification for this using my NIN. Please make this available as I feel safe using this app as opposed to others.

  • Horrible

Luno are scam don’t invest your money with them. The price of there crypto does not match with all other wallet they are fake and they also fluctuate the price of their crypto currency’s, I was scammed by them just now I have a coin worth 64,000naira just now and all of a suddenly it dip to 42,000naira with just a time interval of 30 minute, my crypto assets all dip 35% in their wallet but the dip was not showing in coin market cap and other crypto currency’s wallet. I swear to God Almighty I’m no lying don’t waste you money investing with them if you are from Africa particularly Nigeria you can try other wallet like bundle, Roqqu, binance the have p2p and they are also reliable too

Hello, Luno doesn’t set the price of Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies that are available on our platform. Luno is a marketplace where traders can come to buy and sell – therefore, the prices are determined by the value traders place on cryptocurrency and the amount they are willing to buy and sell it for. Every cryptocurrency exchange is essentially its own unique marketplace, with different traders who are buying and selling at different prices. The way that market forces work means that these prices will usually be roughly the same across the various platforms, although they will always differ slightly. Sometimes, they'll only differ by a very small amount, and other times, they'll differ a bit more. As the price of Bitcoin reaches new highs, there aren't as many people buying/selling Bitcoin in Nigeria as there were before, it can lead to periods of low liquidity causing price spikes and dips. You can learn more about why the price is behaving this way in Nigeria here: https://www.luno.com/blog/en/post/why-the-bitcoin-price-is-behaving-strangely-in-nigeria

  • No issues. Simple layout

Luno is great if you’re looking to start investing as it’s got a simple layout. You can deposit and withdraw money easily and the markets are updated regularly. The only thing to make it a 5 star rating would be to add more coins to the app. There’s only the main ones such as btc, eth, ltc, usd, xrp and Bitcoin Cash. Please add more coins Luno.

Hi there, Thank you for your review! We want to be the easiest place for people to learn about cryptocurrencies. For now, we are focused on the largest and most established cryptocurrencies, namely Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP and USDC. We’re not currently planning on adding support for other currencies, but as always, we're keeping our eyes on the progress and adoption of the cryptocurrency landscape. We’ve notified the team of your request and we’ll send updates on Twitter: https://twitter.com/lunoglobal, Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/luno, and our website when we add support for more cryptocurrencies. ^CT
