Incredible app. Better than anything on the market including Yamaha.
Doesn’t play searched songs anymore
Piano won’t play songs that are searched for. Says piano not connected. Playlists work fine. Steinway tech told me this is a known issue but no estimate when it will be fixed. It used to work fine. A piano of this quality should have an app that works. Unacceptable this has been going on for at least 6-8 weeks.

Great piano, terrible app
App constantly crashes, randomly disconnects from the piano, fails to save (which is especially terrible after you finished recording a song, thus losing it entirely).
Search is also terrible. Songs in my favorites, which now crashes when I try to open, don’t appear in search.
Worst of all is the lack of error messages, so you have no idea why the app just randomly closed.

Unreliable Catalogue
Nice enough piano, HOWEVER Steinway has a track record for dropping songs we like. Perhaps few others in North America enjoyed Stairway to Heaven or the several Eagles tracks (to name a few) that have been dumped. We did.

Video playlist needed
Love our piano but we need the ability to make video playlist that way we can use the video ability a lot more at our university but not have to come downstairs every 5 minutes :(

Battery hog...
The app requires the iPad screen to remain on while using Spirio. It will not run in the background. Thus the iPad battery drains very quickly.
