Pretty good for a touch screen game. I'm all about physical controllers,but this is playable enough for a phone game. It has buttons that make the harder moves easier to pull off if you just can't seem to get the touch controls down. Haven't tried with icade jr. yet, but I was more interested in being able to carry this game in my pocket and play it on the go on my break at work or something. It serves the purpose in my opinion. Grab it while it's 99 cents;)
Update:
Tried with icade jr. and it works pretty good. I can't figure out how to change the button configuration,but the default has it as A=upper left button
B=lower left button
C=upper right button
D=lower right button
So it works out good for me. Only complaint I have is with the touch controls. I agree with other reviewers that this game needs a c+d button while using touch screen. Besides that it works pretty good.
Update 2:
I have noticed occasional slowdown, but the game still runs good for the most part on my iPhone 5s. Still recommend if you can grab it at 99 cents. Still a fun casual fighting game to pull out for a quick bit of entertainment:)Show lessD MCCreedy
Its freaking slow!
I don't know if it's because of the IOS firmware or my device but this game is far from enjoyable at the moment. Just FYI, I'm running the app on IPad Mini Retina, IOS 8.3.Purakutaker

I agree with the reviewer who wants better buttons! Also, tweaked graphics and larger sprites a la KOF 2012-i would be a boon! Yeah! Do new controls and set up (custom control feature is...notsogood) and make it identical to controls and sprite size of kof-i and I'll max out ALL your stars!!!(mmmm...KOF i-2012! Lazy port.
Great game but to have slowdown on an iPhone 6 Plus is shameful.
The record keeping is non-existent. Having an easy to access record on Survival mode would be great and an inexpensive addition.
The "Special Move Button" is also better in the KOF games. Why they went with the poor implementation is beyond my understanding. This port does not seem developed by those who understand fighting games.

Great game! Fluid and responsive controls for an iOS port. Single and multiplayer work well. This is without a doubt one of the greatest fighting games, period. Thus it's one of the greatest on iOS as well. Only problem is there should really be a shortcut button for C+D. If that's patched in, it'll be perfect! Awesome game but broken controls
I don't know if anyone else has this problem, as I didn't see any other complaints about this in reviews, but the SP button doesn't work at all. The shortcut buttons are A+B, for 3rd Strike style overhead, and A+C. I have no idea what A+C does. A good shortcut would be C+D which is a game mechanic when your character is in TOP style. Imo the shortcuts are necessary on a phone. The game is a ton of fun if you can use the old school inputs. Definitely buy this. Would be 5 stars if the shortcuts worked correctly.Show less.ash.!?!LOP
