  • Easy to use app and fees are better than competitive

    I have used Vivid Seats dozens of times to purchase tickets to my favorite sports teams and artists.
    I love Vivid Seats because they make the ticket purchasing and delivery process so streamlined I can buy tickets to Cubs and Bears games up until minutes before the game. They do a good job of showing you if the ticket is an instant download, mobile ticket, or shipped ticket so you know right away what you will be getting.
    I also like that they have views from sections in lots of stadiums. It helps me get a sense of where every seat is and if it is worth the listed price.
    Lastly, and arguably most importantly, I am always sure to compare prices at checkout rather than the listed price because all of these secondary ticket companies list their fees and service charges differently at the end of the process. At checkout, Vivid Seats is usually the cheapest option as their service charges are always lower than competitors like StubHub and SeatGeek.
    I will continue to use Vivid as my primary source of tickets because of all these factors.

  • Worst company

    Bought instant download tickets that did not specify “standing room” in the description (for an event that had both seating and standing room). When I got the tickets, they had that disclosure on the actual tickets (but again, it wasn’t stated on the purchase description or confirmation prior to purchase). Vividseats policy for sellers states it must be disclosed. Vividseats 100% Buyer Guarantee policy states if the tickets were not accuractly described buyers are entitled to money back. Vividseats refused to honor policy and refused to refund. And, when I attempted to resell, they removed the listing because, even though I purchased the instant download through them, I could not sell it as instant download because I’m not a “large seller.” I could only sell as an email pdf, but they remove those listings same day. I was able to take the same tickets and list on Stubhub as instant download same day. Don’t trust Vividseats! Use Stubhub instead-they actually are super helpful and ethical. Buyers beware of Vividseats-they refuse to follow their own Buyer Guarantee. They should call it Vividseats Buyer SOL and screwed policy.

  • DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS PLACE

    HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. Oh and did I mention, HORRIBLE. The company is a joke. The customer service deserves negative stars. I wouldn’t even give one star but I had to. I was surprising my husband with Eagles Vs. Cowboys tickets at Lincoln Financial field for his birthday and he’s never been there since we are Tennessee residents but are huge Eagles fans. So I get on this website and purchase 4 tickets for (what I thought) was Cowboys vs. Eagles tickets for November 11th. Well I actually bought tickets for the Eagles vs. NY Giants for OCTOBER 11th. Well literally not even 30 seconds after I had ordered these tickets, mind you they were $560( WHICH IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR ME ), I had realized this mistake and chatted them on their live chat right away and begged them to change the tickets or give me my money back. I BEGGED. But as anyone who does business with this site knows they do not do refunds or exchanges but by God they do have a spot where you can sell your tickets you don’t want! Isn’t that fantastic? (Please note my heavy sarcasm) So here I am in TENNESSEE trying to sell tickets for a game in NEW YORK. Wish me luck because this dumb site just cost me $560. Oh and if you have a problem don’t bother calling them you’ll just get the same rehearsed answer for your problem and be on hold for 15 + minutes. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. EVER. That is all.

Prior to placing their order, customers are presented with all of their event details; what event they have selected, what date their event is taking place, and where their event is taking place. On this same screen, above the “Place Order” button, it states the following: “By placing order, you agree to our sales terms. All sales are final and are in USD”. When customers confirm their order, they agree that they were aware of what event they are purchasing for and that they agree to our all sales are final policy. As one of the largest ticket resale marketplaces in the country, we do offer the option to re-list tickets for sale that are already in your possession. The option to do so was presented in this case, however it was not pursued further.   • Deceitful practices, awful customer service.

    I bought $475 tickets to a concert in May. I was “guaranteed” the tickets I bought in section 105 directly in front of the stage. Vivid Seats makes a point to offer 100% buyer guaranteed tickets, however lists in fine print that your guaranteed seat can be anything “comparable”. I received my tickets the day of the event, 4 months after buying them, in section 118 directly BEHIND the stage. I contacted customer service immediately and was told the seats were equivalent and I should’ve read the fine print. The representative essentially admitted that the tickets were much worse than the ones I paid for (the ones that were “guaranteed”), but that they couldn’t be held liable for it and would not do anything to mediate their part in the deceit. I never would have paid that amount of money for poor seats. This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend and I spent the first hour of the concert being so upset that I couldn’t even enjoy it. Their competitors had comparable tickets listed that I could have easily gone with instead. I will never use Vivid Seats again.

  • 7 hours before my event and no hope

    Currently it is 7 hours before my event and I have absolutely NO hope. I was impressed at first because when I purchased my ticket (ps I should mention that I got the insurance as well), they said that someone else had already purchased that ticket and so they had called and upgraded my seat. I kept waiting for my ticket to arrive. My tickets never arrived from the seller and the app said they delivered my tickets. I called them about it and customer service just kept acting like I was the stupidest person they have ever spoken to. They said things like “did you check your email? Try typing in tickets in your search.” And when I mention that I did all of that, they were like “are you sure you can’t see it?”

    Now I’m 7 hours before my event and I still don’t have a ticket to the event. I have called customer service 5 times now. They have not promised me anything - such as a ticket or my money back. They say they are calling the seller but through a different company?! I dont know why this is happening but it’s a horrible thing to do a few hours before my concert.

    To add to this, every time I called them (the day of and day before) I sat on the phone for 40 or so minutes before someone answered. Their machine said that they prioritize their calls by concerts within 48 hours. If their lines are that busy, it makes me think that their slogan of “100% buyer guarantee” is somewhat wrong.

    Was after baseball tickets in NY and got onto this. Easy to arrange but then sceptical after reading reviews. Tickets arrived and after minor issue downloading all worked out as planned. Worth checking out.

    No refunds if events are rescheduled and you can no longer attend!? Why should buyers take the risk of that? If you buy tickets for something at a certain time, then it’s up to the supplier to provide them. If the event is rescheduled, then that should be bad luck for the ‘supplier’! I will not be using them again, you take too much of a risk when booking through this company

Alternatives to Vivid Seats | Buy Tickets
