i dont like newsela
newsela is not the best. There is this one problem that i am getting irritated about. Im really annoyed about when the picture is too big and i cant scroll down to read the article.
Need more information
I was searching for about the apple company but it showed other weird articles. Should add more info for that. Good resource though!
all my work keeps getting deleted
I use this app for many of my school assignments, and the first few times I was completing the writing portion, I thought that I had forgotten to click the save button so all my work deleted. I recently had to pause during the middle of an assignment, and as a result, all my work was deleted even though I pressed save. This is extremely annoying considering the response I had written was very long and almost finished.
To the developers of this app: please look into changing the location of the “save” button as my keyboard covers it. In addition, I think it would be very helpful if you could make the responses auto save so in the event that someone does have to quickly exit the app, all their work is still saved.

I wanted to read the newspaper but I didn’t want to read the adult version so I found Newsela and it changed my life when I started reading newsela I couldn’t stop there were so many interesting topic articles and story’s

I once loved this app. Articles streaming out everyday; notifies you on important events in a filtered child-friendly way. It sounds like the perfect children’s app, right?
The truth is no. Newsela Student has always been an app for political agenda and brainwashing. But ever since Covid-19 they’ve taken it too far. They are telling us to blindly take the vaccine when no one is allowed to know what’s in it and that the same corporations that are handing it out are profit run businesses. Why can’t anyone see that they only make money when people get sick, not cured. People will buy vaccines then get sick from the vaccines then buy more vaccines etcetera into an endless cycle.
So to sum it up, Newsela Student is Democrat corrupted and is only useful for non-political stuff.
Know that I am neither a Democrat or a Republican, for political parties are (like racism and world sports) a tool to divide us...

NEWSELA is a really good source of information for children. You can learn things about climate changes and pollution without listening to a very long report that leaves you with more questions. You can also read things about dogs and cats and just things that make you feel good inside. There are also sets for you to customize your reading material to things you like.
