I love it covers all topics but can get frustrating

Fantastic App

This is a brilliant app. My daughter is a good student, but seemed to struggle with science in Year 7. We tried workbooks, but she prefers online resources. I’m delighted to have found this app as it reinforces what she’s learnt at school in a fun and accessible way. Looking forward to her having a lot more confidence in the subject this year. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great app

I’ve been using this app for about a day and it’s a really good app. If you can’t understand things quickly then all you do is press the help bar and it will explain it too you. I’m in year 9 btw and use this to study. This app is really helpful. Thank you to whoever made this app:)

I really like it but theres just one thing

ok so the one thing is that if you get an answer correct please could you make it last a bit longer or if you get it wrong then tell us why it’s wrong thank you 😊 btw i learnt a lot from this app

Good

I am currently a year seven who struggles a bit with science and I think this is a great app for getting better at science.😀
I enjoy doing the tests and I really feel like I am learning things and making progress so thank you.😊

The one thing I am a bit confused about is that sometimes there are questions that just say “don’t panic” so could you explain what that means please

This is an extremely useful app to do a little bit of revision before school while on the bus

Really Useful Tool

Started testing myself as a revision tool before deciding how I wanted to be a science teacher myself! Think it would be a great tool in the classroom, too. Criticism is that it’s awfully tiny reading text on a mobile device and answers could be more clearly “ticked” or “crossed” for quick visual assurance rather than more tiny text in the corner. Reflects UK syllabus well.

good and bad:

it’s really simple to use, really reliable and I have no problem with it!! The only thing that I would add is, adding more topics, but that pretty much it, there’s already a lot of topics but more topics would be amazing !! I love this app honestly though. No ads!!

I'm delighted that you're enjoying 'KS3 Review' so much. It's been designed to precisely cover everything that a year 9 student in a school in England needs to know. I'm afraid that adding extra topics would make that no longer the case. Thank you for your comments, though - we do appreciate it!

This app was amazing and has helped me with revision so much and I’m in year nine it’s great for recapping subjects for gcse if you have forgotten what you learned or fell behind

Gooood! But....

Amazing helped me after learning my flash cards to revise the topic but it does say if it says correct or not but it is not that clear so please like flash the background green if correct or red if wrong to make me upgrade this review to 5 stars!!!!!!

Hi Rabia Parent, thanks for the comment. The background does already turn either a gentle green or gentle orange to tell you whether you are correct or not. If you're finding it hard to see the difference, can I suggest that you try using the high contrast version? Touch the upgrade button. There are two buttons on the right hand side. Touch the "increase contrast" button. The background now either turns light green for correct or a very deep blue for incorrect. If you don't like the result you can always go back and choose "normal contrast" again. I hope this helps.
