App has gone wild
I had over 1,800 points and redeemed 1,000 for $10 off...I lost all my points plus was negative 1,000 points. I asked at the store and they said that it was a glitch and it would be fixed soon...well almost 2 months later and nothing. I have shopped enough to finally be in the positive, but that means I am still out the 800 + 1,000...this is a horrible app. Yesterday I tried to use the points and the app is frozen. Today it is still frozen...I’ve tried turning phone off and then back on...doesn’t work. Tried removing the app and re-installing it and that has not worked. I don’t want to give up on my Save Mart store, but if the perks for shopping there don’t work then I am wasting my money.

Passwords
Every time I go to use this useless app I am asked for my password. I have enough passwords for actual important information I don’t need a password to protect my grocery app.
Why in this day and age do we need a password for a grocery rewards app. What private information are the Russians going to steal from grocery history and product offers. SAVEMART enable FaceID, fingerprint accessibility, or Remember me function.

Not user friendly
App requires entering store location every time I log in, often requires multiple attempts before accepting. Won’t move forward until location completed. Difficult to move around in, slow to load, just cumbersome all around. Would not use except it’s the only way to accrue and use points. It’s getting to where it hassle of the app outweighs the benefit.

Reward
I wished that the 5% was not limited to once a month. I am a shopper of save mart market and my percentage of shopping is the main store which I average 2-4 times a month and sometimes more- I see no value based on that
Not easy to share your shopping list.
I spent quite awhile putting together a list, you can really shop the ad effectively. The list is detailed with pictures and prices which is nice. I’m a caregiver and needed a friend to shop for me. After I created the list I see that you can only email it and then the list sent is really generic. For instance I picked out a certain size of milk and it didn’t list sizes at all. Also, I added notes and they didn’t show up either. The other issue is that my phone doesn’t work in the store and they don’t offer WiFi making lists and the app useless. There is an opportunity to make this app so much better than it is now. I hope they are working on it

Was good
I am giving it 2 stars only because it used to be a fairly good app. Loved to put my shopping list on it, would keep items in memory and could just uncheck item when I needed to purchase again. But now for months I can not login. When I put in my login information, the login button is greyed out and cannot be selected. Can’t find a way around it. Hopefully Save Mart will take note and have the app fixed. Would like to use again.

Pointless app
This app is horrible. They tried to make it way too fancy or something because I can never ever get it to load in the store. It’s also extremely confusing to navigate. All of my other store apps are way more user friendly and simplified so I don’t have a hard time loading them in the moment. It really does keep me from shopping there because I can’t get the extra deals I can other places. Plus, the rewards take so long to accumulate, it’s not even worth it.

Promises UPDATED
Update: I have upgraded review from ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Because I had a wonderful chat with Javier today about the app and I truly feel that someone actually listened. He made notes of what the problems are with the app and promised to bring up at the next marketing meeting. And to follow up with me.
He also is going to review the Safeway app see how we want to have the Save Mart app to work.
Apparently Save Mart changed the company they used for the app development and web page( big Mistake)
And they are working on fixes.
So as I see improvements in the app that returns the functionality and usefulness of the app I will upgrade my review and I hope you will too!
Previous:
Numerous calls about crappy app.
From company “Techs are working on app to get the kinks out” so much BULL!It’s been out close to a year or more and most hate it😡.
Give us the old app!! Look at Safeway App.
You can click and add to shopping list.

Can’t Save Username/Password?
Every time I open the app I have to sign into my account. Not like it saves my email address and password either so every time I have to manually type them in. How annoying is that!? Ever since the website was revamped about 6 months ago it’s been nothing but issues with both the website and the app. You need to hire better developer(s) and QA!

Previous Version Was Better
The previous version of the Save Mart app allowed users to view the weekly add, click on items to add to your shopping list, and organize the shopping list. Since the latest update, users can only view the add and create a list, eliminating the ability to add sale items to the shopping list. The purpose of updates is to make the apps features better; however, that wasn’t the case with this update. This version isn’t user-friendly and is a regression from their previous version.
