Listen to your users!!
Don’t ignore the feedback - the original app was so much better; please go back! At least dump the scanned image version of the weekly ad and go back to the item list. These reviews are giving you specific feedback, with the opportunity to improve the customer experience. Once you release an app, it’s your responsibility to maintain it, monitor it, and improve it as needed - otherwise, get rid of it!!!

The sales ad
I really liked how this app was before this last update. I liked that the things that were on sale were in list form and easy to read, now they appear to literally just scan the sales ad in and I feel like I’m looking at a jumbled, messy, confusing, puzzle. If I wanted to look at an actual sales ad style format I would not just throw the one that comes in the mail away. I want the ease of looking at what’s on sale, not this crap of a circular that you literally have to enlarge to see and then it becomes distorted. I would really appreciate going back to the old format or at least being given the option to choose how I see it. I’m sure there are people who prefer the new format, so it would be great if we all had the option of choosing how we view it.

Upgrade a downgrade
The app no longer allows me to delete an entire shopping list - I have to go through and delete each item individually.
The app also no longer allows me to select the category for an item before it is added to the list.
I miss both of those! Please put those features back in!
I can’t remember now if the old app kept me signed in all the time - the new one makes me re-sign in almost every time, which is annoying.
Dec. 27 update: now the app is even worse! It now shows the print ad, not a list, with no option to change to the list view, so I can no longer click on the item and add it to my shopping list, plus the ad is blurry when I zoom in enough to be able to see the items. Blech!

Love it!
This app is great. I love that I can easily add rewards and coupons to my account. I always use my app before heading to the store. The rewards and frequent promotions is why Save Mart is my favorite grocery store. The app isn’t perfect but it gets the job done. I’ve had no problem adding last minute things to my account while standing in the line at the store.

I Don’t Believe It!
I like the concept of this app. I thought it would get me organized and save me time. It looks as if it offers the option of creating several shopping lists; however, the problem is this app has deleted at least two of my shopping lists twice. 😥😢 I don’t know why it’s doing this. I can’t find a Help section. I had seven lists correlated with six meal plans, plus a general list for staples and weekly sales items. Do I have too many lists? I don’t know because there’s no support section.

Adds value
I liked the original App. This one was slow for a few weeks or log-in issues. Now it works great! I love clipping coupons, the rewards and look forward to the next cookware program.
This app is as ridiculous as their new aprons
The app barley works, and when it does, it takes forever for anything to load.
I try to add rewards from the available list and my points just disappear without being applied.
I added the $5.00 off for 500pts and had 596 points at the time.
I did NOT receive $5.00 at checkout and my points were gone.
This is the third time I've lost points and not been able to use the offer

Pretty decent for savings!
Overall I like using the app. I like that I can get money off as an option. I'll save my points and get $5-$10 bucks off once in a while. I wish there were some more food coupons. I feel like they're mostly household items instead. The biggest thing I would change, is that it would save my email. I hate having to enter my email every single time I go to sign in. And when I get email exclusive offers I go to add them and it hasn't been working.

Can't even log in
I've contacted save mart customer service on numerous occasions. First trying to set up my account, the screen prompt kept saying I could not set up an account and to contract customer service. The customer service rep who I spoke to said they are having problems with signing people up but my request did go through but I am not allowed yet to log in because my accounts locked. He said he would help me unlock it and I would receive an email when the issue was resolved. I got the email within a couple of days but I still cannot log in. Just went to save mart and used my rewards card # so I know that works. I just can't log in or see coupons. Very frustrated!!!

Needs some improvement
Coupons load too slowly. And need more coupons available. Too limited. Maybe even partner with the national coupon companies to integrate into the app? Or offer better store coupons? There's rarely anything for fresh produce or dairy items. Or even Save Mart branded items.
Overall app is fairly easy to use and the rewards programs are easy to follow and use.
