Keeping the covid brain fog at bay
Fantastic game to keep the old grey matter in tip top condition as the rest of me falls apart. Recommended by my doctor after contracting long covid, brain fog is a big issue, so this game keeps my brain working and fills the long hours of boredom of being at home sick. Easy to use and as challenging as you want. Good to play with friends who I can’t get to see but interact with in the game. Top job.Show lessWebbfooted
2023 bad year for WorstmasterPro
I’ve loved this game for years. Recommended it to anyone with an inclination to word play and ofttimes been a bedtime salve to settle my mind after a busy day.
Then in Jan 23 updated it when I got a new (I)phone. Now a game centre login fills the screen whenever I try to open the app. I’m invited to go through the login process for Game Centre, and there IS NO CANCEL OPTION. I’ve never used game centre (prefer real people) and don’t want to join now.
But more ominous, is that if I turn on airplane mode to bypass this, then on opening the app, I’m told I’m logged in as 165 fan9t9n70f, and there is an opening advert at the bottom of the screen. Thereafter it seems normal, but there is that nagging doubt that the app has been hacked and who wants to quarantine their device every time you play a game?Show lessA1n2d3r4e5w

If not ready to sleep, I enjoy the challenge it provides me to get my mind working and eventually ready for the long sleep. Love it!

Unhappy with this game
It seems that this game gives me a really bad selection of letters at the beginning of a majority of the games I’ve played & have played a lot of games. I have ended up with the combination ooeeqae & other similar combinations, then at the end I end up with all the bigger score letters. It’s extremely annoying especially when you have paid for the game. I’m going to start keeping a record of how often this happens & come back & enter it on this review!

Like it a lot
I got this free version to replace the original Scrabble I had used for years. Unfortunately, they got greedy and wanted me to upgrade to an expensive version. Since I didn't, annoying ads popped up after every move. That's when I said goodbye and opted for free versions such as this one. I'm very happy with this game June 2017-I lowered my rating by 1 because I wish it had Scrabble's ability to rapidly recall tiles from the board instead of doing so individually. Great app!
This app is helping me no end….I have reached that stage in my later years when word finding can be a hit and miss process😄. I thought this app would help me to strengthen my vocabulary once more with words again becoming resident in my head, and more easily recalled when needed. It is working well! Having been a Scrabble player in the past, it has been easy to understand the logistics of the game, and I’m enjoying it immensely. Basic scrabble game without all the junk
I really enjoy this game. There are no bells and whistles and no Las Vegas style or scammy advertisements that appear after every move like there is on Scrabble Go. That means I can finish a game in one sitting. Even though I am just playing against the computer or using the pass and play feature, It’s hands down better than the money grabbing game , Scrabble Go. I put up with Scrabble Go nonsense until it would no longer allow me to play under the “Guest” option and I absolutely refuse to allow them access to my contacts and other personal data. This game just allows you to focus on creating and learning new words. I enjoy the three levels of difficulty, the dictionary feature and recommend it to Scrabble lovers as a basic alternative to the other crap on the App Store.Show lessjjstriumph
