  • Excellent, can only be used on one machine

Excellent, not interoperable between my desktop, iPad and I phone it seems game can’t be continued on a different machine. Otherwise it functions well and is instructive
  • Love it- Needs a couple of a tweaks

This game would be perfect if the playable words matched the Mirriam-Webster dictionary of payable words. Words that are not legal like “ja“ and “qin” are played and suggested by the computer.

Other than that, I love how you can see what a “Master Player” would have played on your previous turn. Such a great way to learn new playable words!

    I’m addicted!

  • Reasonable pastime…

… if you don’t take it too seriously. I play Master level, and I can beat the machine about three times out of ten. I’m sure the damned thing cheats. A great many dialect, slang, and obsolete words are used by your opponent.
  • Great free game

Runs without a glitch, unlike the original scrabble we paid for and it failed.
  • Scrabble as it used to be

I prefer this game over Scrabble because it doesn’t use the names of cities, countries, foreign words, words you couldn’t get away with when playing proper Scrabble. Add the play is quick. I haven’t yet played with a real person, but I really like playing with a computer.
  • A great alternative

I downloaded Word Master Pro after trying the “Go” version of the famed original game. After incessant ads, treasure chests and other hugely annoying interruptions, I deleted “Go”. I was very happy to find Word Pro and to be able to relax and enjoy this game. I purchased the ad free version, which has been highly satisfactory.

  • Enjoy This App

I like crossword puzzles and hadn’t really found one I liked, so I thought I would try out a Scrabble style app. After reading the reviews, I tried the free version of this app and liked it, but was a bit irked at getting the ads in between games. Spent the money to get the Pro version and am very satisfied with it. Each game presents a new and interesting puzzle, unlike the crossword puzzles which tend to be not quite as random as they should be. Without the ads, it flows smoothly from game to game. Only downside I see is that the computer opponent comes up with some questionable words that are acceptable to its dictionary. If I can accept that, then I can use them also. I like the feature of swiping across a word to get its definition. This app is very enjoyable! Worth the money.

  • Highly recommend Word Master Pro

Elegant clean design and great features:
    • Lightning-fast; no annoying sound effects
    • Tell computer not to use obscure words
    • Tell computer not to give you all vowels or all consonants
    • After you move, see all possible better moves
  • Best iPad/iPhone “scrabble” game

    Love love love.
Just like “scrabble”. You can play perfectly fine on the free version, which I did for about a month. Then purchased the paid version simply to hide the ads at the top of the screen which can be distracting sometimes, but they’re not too bad.
Their are various boards, although I still prefer the original board and choose that option. Various levels - easy to master.
Just great for the scrabble enthusiast or beginner!

  • Great word games app

I love the flexibility of this game and the small cost for the pro version has been easily worth paying. My daughter enjoys the pass and play version with me and I can happily while away some time trying myself against the computer.
