Hours of fun!
I love this game it’s the age old classic of all time! And it’s great when you live alone one can still play against an opponent (ie the computer). Something though I would like to see is a clarification of words as sometimes the computer comes up with the most hilarious words! Perhaps something could be done to access a sort of dictionary! I only hope that this feature is not already there and I have missed it somehow(giggles) otherwise a fantastic app!Show lessHis servant!
Great game!
I love playing solitaire scrabble against the computer, but the new official app is ghastly. This is a great alternative, especially if you take the time to set up a personal board that resembles the traditional scrabble board.DownUnderDeb
Best Scrabble App
Thrilled to have found this app. Having found WWF is now dreadful, I tried Scrabble Go for an hour & hated the screaming design, the infantile nonsense of prizes & treasure chest etc. Found this, tried it, deleted ScrabbleGo immediately & paid a modest amount to upgrade largely to support the developer. Well done! thank goodness for sane people doing a great job. I would like the ability to see the last scores made each turn, & ideally to play others online. Great Alternative to the Scrabble Go nightmare!
Like many of the other reviewers, I was a diehard Hasbro Scrabble junkie....played daily and loved it! When they closed it down and tried to migrate their fan base to Scrabble Go, I had a look at it and one day of it was a day too long!! Ugghhh, it was truly terrible! When I saw this alternative and the reviews, I decided to download it and within an hour had paid for the upgraded Pro version. This is a terrific game....fast, easily configured and games that are completed in a few minutes vs a few days like old scrabble. My only big complaint is not having the game available in Landscape...you have to currently play in portrait mode which is a pain on my iPad. Hopefully, we will see a future enhancement to address it. But otherwise, big thumbs-up for this game!!Show lessAggravat-ED!
Excellent SCRABBLE Substitute
Having lost the traditional game of Scrabble to infantile animations and monetisation, I am delighted to have found Word Master. I dived straight in and bought the Pro version and am so pleased I did. It has all the gameplay of Scrabble: tactics, vocabulary, bonus squares as appropriate.
I thoroughly enjoy playing Word Pro and can recommend it to anyone wanting a thoughtful, well presented game.Show lessSperx
Great game but...
This is a great replacement for the now defunct scrabble game run by EA. That was replaced by scrabble go which is an abomination - it should be called of candyland scrabble. This game is real scrabble but it lacks two things. One, it doesn’t work in landscape mode which on my iPad is a pain because my iPad cover is designed to stand up only in landscape.
Two, you cant play against friends online. Maybe someday I hope!Show lessFredfrig###

A totally enjoyable, well written game App that works flawlessly. Adverts weren't too bad at all on the free download, but it's well worth paying the small fee to unlock the ad fee Pro version anyway. Anyone into 'old school' word games will truly love this App.RayDNNZ
Better than the new ‘Scrabble Go’
Came to this when I wanted to download Scrabble and looked for the official version. Found that it had been replaced by a toxic looking mess designed for people with short attention spans.
This version is the game I was looking for. Just like the proper game. I even paid for the full version, not to get rid of the hardly noticed banner adverts, but to improve my Spanish.

Great replacement for that other game
My hubby and I used to play the official pass and play word game this is based on, which that company stopped supporting. We tried the replacement ‘move’ version but there’s no pass and play option so we downloaded this instead. You can customise the board and tiles to be just like that original game.
