I’m starting to believe the reviews!!
I don’t think there is a point to wasting my time anymore with this app after this review. All previous entry’s along with the BOOST deal amounted to absolutely nothing but a frustrating experience. Now after having this app for years with zero contact or email confirmations on entry’s, now I’ve started receiving emails with links to enter raffles/contests the day after the entry deadline has passed twice now. I feel like they are trolling me or something. I wish Copdate was legit or worth continuing giving a shot but it’s not, I’ve never had any sort of positive experience with it and clearly nothing has been changed or been updated to fix an app that has never worked, at least for me and what sounds like many others so I’m going to be deleting it after years of hoping for something.

Trust the process
First conclusion one jumps to when they hear bad news is negativity. The system does work, and winners are picked at random. The possibility of one person hitting multiple times is just as great as you getting a loss multiple times. Shoes that are featured on this app are highly sought after so it all comes to chance. Boost don’t boost that I’d ultimately up to you. If your entry does not go through contact support and they will fix it simple as that. A boost x3 your entry it slightly increases your odds. 3 will always be greater than 1 so boost on my frands!

Never Receive Notifications about ANYTHING!!!
I purchased this app some months back in 2022. Trying to give myself a little boost on some of the hot releases but never even received an email. Others in my shoe group would have an email notification but me NOTHING. I reached out to the help department and they said it was fixed but still nothing. I’ve liked EVERY STORE in the United States and some outside the states , but still nothing. I’m almost wondering if this was just a money grab or it’s only for certain people within the membership. I’m so tired of missing out on drops and trying everything under the son just to cop a shoe for the toe. I’m tired of having to compete with the resellers. COPDATE…what do I have to do in order to get this app to work? What are my options here? PLEASE HELP me to understand why I paid you guys for an app that’s not even working!

BROKEN FOR YEARS, Absolute waste of time
App has been broken for years. Events never show up on the events page - you can select every store in America and still the list will be empty even when events are really live. Log in/out no difference. So you can’t use the app to enter. And if you enter via the website the odds of your entry actually counting are about one in twenty (and I’m not talking about winning, I’m talking about whether they accept the entry). Whatever “bot protection” copdate has come up with is absolute garbage that just throws away revenues for the poor misguided skate shops that get convinced to use their platform. How will the skate shops make money off the boosts if the app and platform is so broken you can never find the raffles and/or enter them?

Raffle Entries Not Being Counted
I’ve signed up for numerous raffles on Copdate over the past year, but, for some reason, my entries are not being counted. When I enter raffles, I use the same exact information as it’s written on my Copdate account so I don’t understand why my entries are going ghost. I know they’re not being counted because people who’ve actually won Copdate raffles said they received an email confirmation and some people received the option to boost their entry. I reached out to them countless times and they’ve only responded twice. They did not follow up with me either times after providing information and details regarding missing entries for the raffles I signed up for. I tried creating new accounts and the same thing happens. I don’t mind taking an L on raffles but it’s different when my entries aren’t being counted for no valid reason that I’m aware of. They refuse to help and I’m so over it. I wish these companies would stop using this app.

Best Way to Secure SBs Without a Doubt
COPDATE is a third party app runs raffles for a lot of stores and Skateshop’s and they level the playing field and take the responsibility of the shop out of the equation. One signs up if the release is in your area and the shop typically puts a certain radius around the shop and you have to be with it that area to enter or it is a nationwide release and COPDATE is used as a safe and fair 3rd party. One gets benefits for BOOSTING entries which the app explains and since I got the app a few years back I have boosted EVERY entry which is a lot and I have won many many times. I have won a couple nationwide drawings and many local skateshop drawings and honestly… prior to COPDATE I was winning about ZERO so I am insanely grateful. Plus the Perks Passes automatically enroll me in drawings I would have never been able to enter. This app should have a rating WAAAAAAAAAY higher than what it has but honestly I think it’s because people either don’t know how to use it or think it should magically give them show when in reality it just helps you try to get them in more ways giving us more opportunities to win and this app AT LEAST offers a level playing field. I am all for COPDATE, always will be. Team COPDATE till the end.

Worst app ever. Honestly don’t understand this. Cop hassle free? Complete trash. I’ve entered countless raffles, spent money left and right trying to boost my chances, and what does it get me, NOTHING. Don’t be fooled by this app, it’s complete nonsense. I’ve entered a few as of this typing, and it doesn’t even show in my “list” where your raffles are entered. But yet, they send you an email to “boost” your raffle. You already know, that’s their tactic of getting extra money off you. But no, I went with it, and tried to believe that it would help. It doesn’t do anything. This app is worse than the SNRKS app, trust me, but I actually cop there. Do yourself a favor, but be fooled to boost your raffles here.

Zero customer service and zero transparency
I’ve had issues using the app and when I email their support, they either don’t respond or they give general responses that don’t help with my issue. Their customer service is the worst. Also if you boost, you really have no idea if the boost did anything to help your chances of winning. You have no idea how many pairs of shoes there were in the first place or how many people won or how many won because of boosting. You have no idea, period. You may have just thrown your $5 away for nothing. Please don’t be a desperate Sneakerhead and use this app. Save yourself some money and frustration.

Hot garbage
Copdate had all the opportunities during the pandemic to improve their platform but didn’t. The map function doesn’t work and doesn’t pick up my shops, even tho I’m 7 miles from a major retailer/skate shop. I always have to register for local drops thru email which renders the app basically useless. I meet the requirements when I submit the entry form (again NOT THRU THE APP BUT THRU THEIR WEBSITE) but I’m barely selected for draws and when I am, they shake me down for an extra $3, $5, $10 for shoes I’ll never get. I was also tipped off by a shop employee that free entries will NEVER win, and in order to qualify, you HAVE to Boost. I don’t even care about the L’s, it’s the fact that you always HAVE to pay $$ for a small chance at getting the shoes. I hope skate shops drop this garbage service. I’d rather line up at the door at midnight and wait 10 hours. Analog style.
This can be done SO much better. Missed opportunity but maybe someone will read these reviews and develop a better service cus this ain’t it.
