Out standing soft ware

I’m loving Simple salons, Iv been with them for more than 14 years and loving the software updates and what it allows me to do. Great for our business so I highly recommend🤩

Needs work

One of the main issues I’m having is when you go to enter client comments the text box is hidden by the keyboard, can’t see what you’re writing nor can you save what you’ve entered

Software is fine but the app is incredibly frustrating.
Must be improved soon or I’m done……. I will source another product.

Better

Much better with this update. Trying to use the web version on my phone was a nightmare.

As a salon owner I would like to see the salon totals for individual stylists, so I can track it when not in salon. And I constantly have to log in on the phone app- very annoying

Hi J. Thanks for your review. Obviously we'd like to do better than one star in your eyes. The latest version (3.1.8) allows you to see totals for individual stylists and can be tracked when not in salon. Log-in has been updated too so now you can use a pin after your phone logs you out (for security reasons). If you ever try us again hopefully these features will aid your productivity and enjoyment. Why

I’ve been using simple salon for years and have been really happy until now. The app worked gr8 until a week ago and now I can’t even open it on my phone. It’s fine if I log in online but not so easy from a smallish phone.

Thanks for your review. Great that you were happy—until now. We have updated the app with the latest version—3.1.8—which has more advanced features than the 3.0.7 version you were using. We're constantly taking feedback from users and incorporating new features and whilst always developing we do apologise for any glitches you might have experienced.

Constantly crashes

I love being able to set appointments and see my daily schedule but anytime I try to edit an appointment or look at a client's history, it crashes and closes. Would love to see that problem fixed, otherwise it is fairly useless.

Hopefully you will not experience any of these issues with the latest version—3.1.8—which has more advanced features than the 2.9.9 version you were using. Setting appointments and monitoring your daily schedule is easier than ever with the current Simple Salon.

Can’t book clients in

Great app just wish u could delete and add clients appointment in on my phone would make it a lot easier. The plus button doesn’t work just shuts the app done and same when I click on an available spot to book someone in.

Thanks for your review. Yes, it is possible to delete and add clients appointments on your phone. You can also select/change the operator (stylist etc…). Hopefully any issues you may have had with version 2.9.7 on your phone have been fixed with the latest version, 3.1.8.

Is slowly getting better

We use SS through a browser on an iPad which is okay, but the UI isn’t as strong as what it is on PC/Desktop.

This app has the potential to be better and more functional than the SS browser UI, but development has been slow.

Hopefully POS integration is in the next update then we can ditch the browser version for day to day use.

Needs Updating

Great app for being about to check availability on the go HOWEVER it definitely needs some features added.
To be able to delete or create appointments is an absolute must! Please.

Hi Sarah. You're so right—deleting and creating appointments via the app is an absolute must. We can't believe we didn't have it in Version 2.4! We're always learning, and there's a bunch of new features—including creating, deleting and revising appointments—in the current version of SS. Please do give it a try if you haven't already upgraded.
