Crazy complicated

Eventually got it to work with our alarm system, not easy. THEN they updated the app!! Since then it asks for passwords to even get into the app which took ages to set up and time consuming to use. Made a bit easier by setting up Touch ID. Can’t do the same on my husbands phone it won’t accept anything we put in. Our alarm supplier don’t seem to understand what is going on. All in all, useable if you can get round the technology but useless if you can’t. Update: engineer eventually came. Looked at control panel - last engineer hadn’t set the control panel right to use with app. Rectified but only with engineer giving me endless instructions. If I lose the app again I fear I will not get it to work. So good when it works but ITS NOT USER FRIENDLY TO SET UP.
Oh my goodness when the alarm sounds on your phone it’s like WORLD WAR III

Architecture of the application is changed in order to improve its quality and security. These are default security settings for the mobile app. You can press "Keep me signed in" not to write a password every time you login. So easy to use. Keeps you informed on different things. History for insurance purposes. Can activate the alarm from your phone. Would recommend.

Using the App

I give this 3 stars because the app is not clear and not easy to navigate.
Also if you use the remote to set and unset your alarm after a period of time you start getting notifications that your app will stop working?
I think the app could be made clearer the whole system just seems a bit DIY.

Good but not quite there

Excellent App and works perfectly with domestic alarm. Would be useful to be able to clear troubles from the app (can’t seem to do this other than from panel/keypad directly. Minor troubles line comma failure from a temporary power cut stay on the app and look current but are historical.

Hello, unfortunately, it can't be done using the application because troubles must be only checked by panel/keypad, it's a panel limitation.

Great app could be improved

Good app, very reliable and accurate but events lack time and date stamp which would be useful. Also clearing an alarm event seems to be impossible

Could be better…

Generally the app works well and does what I need to to. However, as someone who regularly has their phone on silent during work hours etc. ‘Critical Alerts’ functionality (alerts when on silent/do not disturb) would be useful. It is surprising that an app of this nature does not already have this feature. Hopefully the developer will read this review and update the app!

Hello, unfortunately, It is not possible by Apple rules. iOS prohibits all the sounds in silent mode.

Updated app doesn’t work

After 4 years of using the app perfectly I was just forced to update the app, and it doesn’t work. The functionality was previously great alerting me remotely anywhere in the world if the alarm went off even if I didn’t have the app open, and also being able to set the alarm from the app when i have left the house and it would give me an accurate status every time. I have now just been forced to update the app and none of it works in the new app, most importantly it doesn’t give an accurate status ever. Choose to set Home and it just keeps spinning after the countdown. Can we please have the previous version of the app back?

App periodically logs you out

Several times now (like today) I had to re-enter all my details to login, things like Alarm house name, password etc and previously even lost full contact with my home via this app (failed to connect for several weeks) this is not on in my view even looking around for better alarm systems with reliable mobile apps. I know it’s not the same but this company should revamp their website, user support (if they have one) like Eufy. When this alarm system is working it’s great but you fail me when it’s not, I will be watching for a radical change but won’t hold my breath.

Just a quick review of the new app!

Firstly, if something isn’t broken why change it? New app looks cheap and tacky and unprofessional but more concerning now, you cannot set home instant without an exit delay, it’s now with an exit delay, not sure there is a point in that and why would I want to alarm my home and give burglars a 10 second head start! If this was the app when I first got this system fitted I would have requested it to be uninstalled, just cheap and tacky - system was good until as I say I now give burglars a head start.

Shocking and gone from a happy customer to an unhappy one.

Now can’t submit my review cos every nickname in the world has been taken!

Hello, there is a way to turn on the alarm without delay using this application. You need to press on "Panel" button in "SYSTEM" section in "Main" menu and then press "AWAY" button for a few seconds. You need to press "Away Instant" from the dropdown menu . The application just streams the information from the server. There's something wrong with connections between the panel and server. It's not relevant to the application. To check the panel connection, please contact your local provider.
