Solid straightforward app for managing feeding
This is an app which we are using to support the fresh feeder mini. It is w parking smoothly for configuring the feeder but the following should be noted: - configuring the feeder to be on WiFi is counterintuititive: you must be on the feeder WiFi and then specify with an open text field the password a no -5g WiFi in your environment. Following instructions exactly as provided will work - setting up the amount of food being dispensed can be awkward: the weight is provided in grams, but dispensing is in cures ( c.f. 1 3/10c) But the app provides the necessary functions to support the feeder.Show lessDon Rolph
over complex & all the wrong features
Update: I’ve lowered my star rating since i left the previous review, mainly because instead of getting easier to use, they just add more clutter.
I want to set up a simple schedule & feed my cats, not create profiles for my cats & start social circles. The priorities for the user experience of this app leave alot to be desired. It unbelievable difficult to use as a result. Plus who measures in 5ths of a cup?Show lessmarcelt
Worst UI, worst software
I used the app for more than 9 months, thinking “oh my god. this is the worst UI I have ever seen”. I thought it was stupidly and oddly complicated to maneuver around the buttons, and configure the feeding settings. But i had told to myself “meeh! It feeds my cat. So i won’t bother giving them 1-star”. Until it stopped working. For the past month, it is IMPOSSIBLE to change the feeding settings. The only thing i can do is to disable the feeding schedule and manually give snacks (or set up a time for a snack). But creating a custom plan from scratch just stopped working. Looked for an update, but there is none. Worst app and design ever!Show lessfeedingluna

Me 5 stars, cats not so sure
I’m loving it …. Therefore veto on stars. Less than a week, my little fuzzy princessessesssessss are still a bit unsure. As the base is not solid the one I’ve seen use it is hesitant to get in. The app capture your cat’s weight, that way you are supposed to know which is which …:. Not worked this out, yo-yo weights, or they are getting half in ??? Useless
Notifications are never sent. I can see both my feeder and fountain connected to the App and Cloud, yet I have yet to receive a notification that the water is low or that the filter needs to be changed. Instead, I have to manually inspect the levels, defeating the purpose of the “smart” features, making it a waste of money. The feeder does send notifications, but even those are inconsistent. There have been times the hopper was empty, but no notification was sent. Again, I need to manually check, defeating the whole purpose of the item and the app.
I’ve contacted PETKIT support and completed the numerous steps they provided to try and fix the connection and notification issues, but nothing has worked and PETKIT has stopped responding. They willfully know there is an issue, yet refuse to provide a solution or fix the problem.

It’s alright
It seems to be working now, but I had a lot of trouble getting it set up. Once it finally connected to my phone the schedule kept saying disable without an option to enable it.
Then it kept saying that it had low food even though the hopper was full to the top. There was no option to reset it. I had to delete the decide and reinstall to clear the error.
After deleting and reinstalling the device 7 or 8 times it finally worked. No problems since, but I’ve only had it going a few days.Show lessPapa Tease

I’m using the Puramax with the Odor removal integration and they are so cool and work seamlessly from day one , we can’t believe how there is no bad smell from our 7 cats 2 parents and kittens.

Programming the feeding not working
Impossible to program the hours at which the cat can be fed. The fact that the app does not work makes it useless to buy a petkit connected product …GuiTO100
