Pura max self cleaning litter tray
Absolutely brilliant- I love it - I had an auto litter before which was good but not enough for 3 cats and took an hour to rotate to clean - I therefore still had to clean out mess pre rotation and had a second manual cat litter - now just the 1 with no smells and no work to do at all, it tells me which cat has been when and by the weight u know what for, it’s a lot of money at £699 so look out for voucher deals. My only criticism is the bags are expensive £9.99 for 20 bags and I use 2 a week. You do save on the cost of cat litter though.Show lessdebiacona
Great purchase!!
I’m so happy with this machine!! My cat loved it from the start which of course was as important as how well it worked. To walk in to the room and have no cat litter all over the floor. To have clean litter, no scooping required. Cleansing the inner part is so easy. You take off the cover and it comes right out. And the app is so helpful. Keeps track of everything you want to know. If this is the first time buying one of these like me, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Perfect lifesaver!
I’ve not scooped once since the Petkit arrived. I change the litter bag in the bin approx once every 5 days for my 3 cats and it was once every 2 weeks when they were kittens. I’ve not changed out the litter ever! No need because it doesn’t smell and the clumping litter perfectly disposes feces and urine from the barrel after each auto clean, rotation of the barrel. The app has been 100% glitch-free. It has allowed me to track each kittens’ growth (weight). It’s a true lifestyle changer.Show lessGala522
A great app & they have added a lot of great features
I have the Pura Max litter robot and the food dispensers. This app let's me control both easily, and gives you a lot of customization for notifications, and how everything operates.
It's super simple to skip a feeding for the day or add an extra one.
For the Pura Max they added a feature I really wanted, maintenance mode. Now it's much easier to add litter or adjust the unit without it thinking a cat is using the box and it needs to run a cleaning cycle.Show lessVittriano
Obvious quality control issues
The idea for this app is solid, and my friend manages to use it for their automatic feeder. But the interface is awful. There’s no way to scroll up or down even when the amount of text on a page runs down past the bottom of your phone’s screen, which means there’s no way to access important information. Instructions for connecting devices are unclear, and directions don’t match up with what the device and app actually do. You’re told up front that you need to enable location settings to “find more friends,” which seems unnecessary—but turns out you can’t connect your devices without location detection turned on, so it’s very necessary. I’ve been troubleshooting this for half an hour, and customer support just sent me to voicemail.Show lessgray-pup
PETKIT cat litter box
At first I hasitated to purchase the PETKIT cat litter. Today, a week later I am extremely pleased with the product.
The features are amazing. I can truly monitor my cat’s health. The cat area is order free and cleaner. I no longer need to scoop up cat litter.
The product’s features incorporated are excellent, this includes cats nutrients and more. I am sharing with my friends.

Feeder works well, app is hard to navigate
I use the PetKit feeder, and it is well-designed and reliable!
Reviewing the app though. It is a bit of a mess, designed for use with many Petkit devices at once and with too many ‘features’ I’ll never use (why would I post to other Petkit users?) but annoying limitations for basic things I do need to do routinely (like adjust feeding times for a few days).
Simplify and streamline the UI to make it easy to do the things the user cares about, and this could be great!Show lessVh35

This app is bad!
It was difficult to understand their English instruction (ie; lousy direct translation from their native language!)
I installed it on an old iPod touch, configured and customized the water fountain the way it should be and then deleted it right away - changed my WiFi password and factory reset my iPod nice and clean!
I don’t trust these sort of apps remain and connect to my Bluetooth / WiFi network!Show lessi.disturbia
Device and app are as designed.
One cat loves the robot litter box. One does not. App is great. Customer service does not exist. So rely on community and internet for any assistance.nosiaj
Petkit Pura X
We are only a couple of days into this, but so far it is a nice system. The app makes it especially nice and easy to monitor our cat’s potty times (and weight). Our cat weighs 13.8 lbs, and the unit is a bit tight. She seems to have accepted it for urinating, but not bowel movements yet. As I said, it has only been two days and she has been using a conventional litterbox for seven years. I feel confident that she will fully adjust. The Pura X keeps the area much cleaner than the old litterbox, with minimal litter scatter. The area is also fresh smelling, due to the built-in purifier. Overall, I would recommend the Pura X for anyone looking for the added convenience. Ultimately, one would have to decide if the cost (approximately $600) is worth the added convenience.Show lessV¢R
