Glastonburry 2024 🔥🔥🔥

OMG! This app is absolute perfection!! It’s so easy to get organised for a festival with thousands of attractions. For glasto it gives the WHOLE programme, from gigs to activities in every existing stage.
You can connect with your spotify and maybe find out that random dj you like is playing on a small tent 😂
Honestly….. best app ever made!!!!

Thank you! Glad you're getting good use of the 'Ideas' bits, and hope you have a great Glasto 🧡

Great app

I was looking for an app to plan my line up for Glasto ahead of the official app launch. This app is great and does everything I need - easy functionality + effective. Doubt I’ll bother with official Glasto app since finding this one.

Thank you! Glad it's working well for you, and hope you have a great Glasto 🧡

Can’t see friends plans

I have added a friend but we can’t see each other’s plans

Response from developer

Thanks for trying When.fm! Sorry to hear you're having trouble seeing your friend's plans. Could you please email noel@when.fm with your username and your friend's username, so I can have a look? You might find that pulling down to refresh the "first" screen of the festival (with the list of days' programmes) helps you here. But either way I'd like to investigate, as the app should detect changes in friends' plans and refresh automatically so long as you're both online. Many thanks, Noel

Thought it was going to be good…

I spend 30 mins adding artists to my plan, but it didn’t save a single one deeming the app pointless.

Shame as I thought it was going to save me from the terrible Vodafone Glastonbury app.

Thanks for trying When.fm, and I'm really sorry you had problems with it. Because performance times come from kind contributors to the data on Clashfinder, artist names and stages sometimes change or get renamed slightly after When.fm starts showing a festival, as the data quality improves. This does mean that occasionally, there is no way to safely save a plan because we can't match an outdated performance to the latest schedule any more. I've put a lot of work into recovery logic to try to stop this disrupting saving *other* plans wherever possible, if you had a few queued up to save while you were offline for example. So far this year, When.fm has stored 10,000s of plans for Glastonbury attendees – so I hope it is working for the vast majority of people. I really want to understand better what happened in your case and try to fix it. I'm always looking to make things more reliable even when the performance data changes. If you're able, I'd really appreciate if you could email noel@when.fm with a bit more information: 1. your username for the app 2. whether earlier plan saves seemed to work / went orange, or not? 3. any error message you got, if you remember roughly what it said Many thanks, Noel

Doesn’t save selected artists for Glastonbury 2023

This app could be amazing and would get a handful of stars but it doesn’t save the acts that you want to see rendering it pretty much useless and also a huge waste of time once you’ve gone through the whole line up only to find it hasn’t been stored!

Easy and clear

Great app, way easier to use than some official ones

Does not work without wifi

Downloaded this app pre Glastonbury. It does everything the other reviews say it does but as it was a bit slow at home on my wifi (my wifi is not the best) decided to try it outside on 4G - and it turned out it doesn’t work at all without wifi. The app would not open properly with the little circle going round and round and eating my battery but nothing would load. Guess won’t be using it…

While When.fm has always supported all network types, v3.4 brings more improvements for how we handle bad connections. In my experience, most phone networks struggle with the crowd density at Glastonbury even when it shows full bars, but When.fm should now be one of the best apps at dealing with this! If you opened it and saved plans in advance, the app will now suggest you try "Always Offline" mode if this is happening, and it can queue up changes to your plans (you can see them in Settings) – ready for when you have a better connection again. I hope you'll give it another try next time! 🧡

Better for older devices

Official Glasto app requires iOS 14 which limits many older devices. This only needs ios 12 and works for much older devices

Way better than the official Glastonbury app

Has an A-Z list and better ability to see friends’ plans and also track where your friends are. Neither of which is done on the official Glastonbury app. 👍

FOMO’s magic bullet

Great simple tool for getting the most out of your festivals / minimising time trying to coordinate with your friends.
