Can’t see friends plans
Response from developer
Thanks for trying When.fm! Sorry to hear you're having trouble seeing your friend's plans. Could you please email noel@when.fm with your username and your friend's username, so I can have a look? You might find that pulling down to refresh the "first" screen of the festival (with the list of days' programmes) helps you here. But either way I'd like to investigate, as the app should detect changes in friends' plans and refresh automatically so long as you're both online. Many thanks, Noel
Thought it was going to be good…
Shame as I thought it was going to save me from the terrible Vodafone Glastonbury app.

Thanks for trying When.fm, and I'm really sorry you had problems with it. Because performance times come from kind contributors to the data on Clashfinder, artist names and stages sometimes change or get renamed slightly after When.fm starts showing a festival, as the data quality improves. This does mean that occasionally, there is no way to safely save a plan because we can't match an outdated performance to the latest schedule any more. I've put a lot of work into recovery logic to try to stop this disrupting saving *other* plans wherever possible, if you had a few queued up to save while you were offline for example. So far this year, When.fm has stored 10,000s of plans for Glastonbury attendees – so I hope it is working for the vast majority of people. I really want to understand better what happened in your case and try to fix it. I'm always looking to make things more reliable even when the performance data changes. If you're able, I'd really appreciate if you could email noel@when.fm with a bit more information: 1. your username for the app 2. whether earlier plan saves seemed to work / went orange, or not? 3. any error message you got, if you remember roughly what it said Many thanks, Noel

Easy and clear

Thanks so much! I'm really glad the app's working well for you 🧡
Does not work without wifi

While When.fm has always supported all network types, v3.4 brings more improvements for how we handle bad connections. In my experience, most phone networks struggle with the crowd density at Glastonbury even when it shows full bars, but When.fm should now be one of the best apps at dealing with this! If you opened it and saved plans in advance, the app will now suggest you try "Always Offline" mode if this is happening, and it can queue up changes to your plans (you can see them in Settings) – ready for when you have a better connection again. I hope you'll give it another try next time! 🧡
Better for older devices
Way better than the official Glastonbury app
