Great app

Does what it says

Bug Found in exposed AUv3 parameters

The exposed parameters (eg. in AUM) respond to midi mapping externally but the changes don’t propagate into the plugin.

Great app

Lightweight. Very useful. UI is a little clunky but then I’m not gonna write a replacement myself.

Don’t fooled by the GUI

It doesn’t actually show you the LFO signal. It’s just an image. Kinda makes using this with cross LFO modulation useless. You’re better off with some like lfoh! Would have liked to return but the useless UI wasn’t a sufficient return reason. One star.

Perfect

Wish I could attach this directly to several hardware boxes. It’s perfect/brilliant. Wish every LFO I used was replaced by this app. Easy, quick with just enough depth/futzability.

Brilliant

One of my most used AUs. Easy to use, flexible, reliable, and undeniably useful.

Great app, needs MIDI Learn

Like it but would love MIDI learn to auto assign incoming cc/nprn to the selected LFO. That would be hugely helpful to avoid having to dig thru manuals to find model specific CC#s.

Beats Bram Bos Rozeta LFO

MidiLFOs provides superior visual feedback compared to the Rozeta LFO. Another good sign is A.K. also took the trouble to supply a pdf help manual that moves beyond the level of 'This a knob. It is my knob. I turn the knob left and I turn the knob right. The knob goes from 0 to 10...'. I appreciate this since I do not have a history of using midi hardware and so I'm thankful for pertinent discussion/instruction/how-to on the subject of Midi as it relates to this software synth realm I have recently found myself enjoying.

MASSIVE!

Amazing for procedural music, as I like to call it since I come from video games lol. This thing is perfect for modular synthesis, in more traditional musical terminology.

If you know what you’re doing, you won’t regret buying this. And realistically, if you were looking for a MIDI LFO controller, yes you probably already know what you’re doing so just get it right now.

My main suggestions about what to combine with this app:

Step Poly ARP:
turn the MIDI CC into notes somehow: I use the app Mozaic with a custom script I wrote, then quantize that to a scale and run it through an Arpeggiator.

ApeMatrix:
Super simple to send midi in interesting and dynamic ways, AUM and AudioBus lock you into a very linear workflow especially when setting MIDI up which can lead to slow innovation and creativity.

Great AUv3 Update

A nice update which allows you to run multiple instances for even more MIDI modulation LFO control of your setups.
