This app delivers!
This emergency app is the real thing. It's simple to set up and it's thorough. Provides full location data, live video and sound recording all delivered to all your emergency contacts immediately after you release your you touch from your screen...immediately it will email, text and call all the numbers on you emergency list alerting your loved ones that there is trouble and providing the detailed location information, video and sound recorded. It won't call 911 but tells your contacts to try and contact you immediately and/or call 911.
WARNING: this app is really simple to set up. If you want to test it make sure you add only your number to the emergency list for your trial run because once it's set up it works!! I set up my list and then gave it a test run and immediately started getting phone calls from worried friends and family!! It works great but it works RIGHT AWAY. No test run.

Needs Instructions
I downloaded this after hearing about it on CSI Cyber, problem is, there are no instructions, setting it up was easy enough adding your emergency contacts, but it doesnt tell you what to do with it once its set up, so while playing around with it, I inadvertantly sent my contacts notices that I needed help!! I dont like finding out how to use something like this by crying wolf.Show lessShaynaLinda

I butt dialed this app and my mother hasn't shut up about witness! What is it!? Are you alright!? These question continue a week after I told her to ignore it. I immediately deleted it. While I think it is a great idea, the app needs some tweeking to stop accidental issues.Best grocery app ever
Great idea, could use some upgrades
GREAT APP!!! Still a new app and like they said "like wine some things get better with age"
Here's a couple recommendations
1. When you close the app or put the phone to sleep have it still broadcast at least audio, preferably video to. If an attacker were to grab your phone and put it to sleep everything is over. No more recording.
2. Create a passcode option so an attacker can't turn off your recording only you can. If you're able to put your phone to sleep and still record this wouldn't need to be an option.

Peace of mind
As a young female, I have a constant worry about my nightly walk home, especially living in an area where attacks and muggings aren't uncommon. Having Witness on my phone has brought me the peace of mind that I was missing. As quickly as I may worry about a situation, I am also relieved to know that Witness is there in case I need it. Very useful app
It's quite useful app. It crashed on me once while setting up and picking phone number form contact. Please fix. Hint: use real devices to test instead of QA once. I am iOS developer and i faced this type of crashes.brethart7
