I will literally watch one episode, then when I want to watch the next one will have to sign in and out because it will tell me I can’t access the show because of my tv provider. You start out with one, but by the time you get to the end, there’s seven. I understand it’s a free app and I should watch commercials but 28 commercials in one 30 min program is a bit much. In addition, it keeps telling me to stop recording the screen when I’m screen mirroring. I watch on different televisions in different households and screen mirroring is the best option sometimes. ### 3/5 — Review *2026-07-01, version 10.8.0* It’s an app. ### 2/5 — Love A&E Content: Hate The TOO Frequent Ads *2026-06-19, version 10.7.0* As a person who has worked in the broadcast, cable and digital media world for over 2.5 decades, this one is rough for even me. The ad frequency feels like every :120 seconds & it frankly becomes frustrating. There are 2 different ad types that pop up & make the viewing experience less than enjoyable. The user decides which ad to view by clicking one of two choices. The first ad choice is a :30 interactive ad which I must physically click to “return to content” after the ad content plays. The 2nd ad choice is either a :120 or a :150 second ad (can’t recall off the top of my head) that the user must simply sit thorough. I’m not sure if I’ll continue to use the app simply because there are ads happening SO frequently. I wish there were another option to enjoy this network. It truly is one of my favorites. If commercials and required interaction don’t bother you, I’m sure you’ll love it! They aren’t duping you and it has a great selection for crime/guilty pleasure shows. The transition to ads is super glitchy & takes awhileeee to load. Same with scrolling thru episodes, but it’s functional with a lot of patience. The content that IS locked behind your cable provider is somewhat random & nonsensical, but that’s okay b/c it also means at least 1 episode or season of any show is available for free. Their types of shows don’t need to be in order anyways. Logging into your TV provider for full access is annoyingly impossible—who has that info? No one in my house can figure out what cable user we created 15 years ago and it’s not really worth reseting it just for this site. Lost to time! Enjoying this app nonetheless.
