I have used this app to edit my phone photos at least a decade now? Figured it was time to give it the credit it deserves. It’s the only app I pay for yearly because it’s that worth it to me. You basically have access to all the major photo editing tools you would use in adobe creative suite, and lots of fun presets to play with that they keep adding to each year. I love that I can batch edit and save my own presets. And unlike adobe, I’m not stuck in an outrageously expensive subscription plan. The flare & bokeh tools were part of what made the app special & helped define an entire editing era. Now features longtime users have used forever suddenly locked behind a paywall. It’s frustrating watching an app that built its following on accessible creativity slowly nickel-and-dime the very people who supported it from the beginning. I understand apps evolve & developers need income. But there’s a difference between growing a business & stripping away core features longtime loyal users already had access to. It leaves a really bad taste. Honestly? It feels like the soul of the app got replaced by monetization strategy. I’ll sacrifice the filter packages I purchased & just delete the app. Honestly?
