I use it nearly every day to help keep up with the lessons and search for inspiring quotes to boost my learning. The physical “book” is heavy to carry around (!) so having this app on my phone means I’m never without the text to reference from. It has been the gateway to studying and understanding ACIM for me. I have the book, too, but I have dyslexia, so reading with just my eyes is a challenge. Therefore I use the voice option while reading along with the text. Additionally, it gives you daily and hourly reminders if you choose. It has effective bookmarks, search options, and much more. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to read and understand A Course in Miracles. ### 5/5 — Blown away! *2025-07-26* There are so many features it would take an essay to name all The ones that I love. My favorite is the ability to highlight and capture a passage and turn it into a beautiful graphic. I also love that I can read or listen with the audio version. The app seamlessly syncs with all my devices. The cameos are very helpful for understanding the origins of the course. I have used other ACIM apps but this one is user friendly and you can research certain teachings, do your daily lessons and look up quotes with ease. The complete and annotated edition is the book I have been using for approximately the last 7 years. When this app became available I started using it right away. The main reason? Well it’s so easy to have the course with me all the time! The footnotes, cross references and cameos have been super helpful to my understanding of the text, workbook and manual. My study group also uses the CE. So no matter where I am, I can keep up with my reading and studying. However, this app has changed all of that. With the app, I can easily navigate through the text and lessons, and I always know where I am during each study session. I am farther along than I have ever been, and I have no intention of giving up now. I use it multiple times daily and probably use it for 90% of my reading of the Course. The search function is great. I even was able to find a passage I thought I “made up” and had given up trying to find in my hard copy. Oh, and the passage is now highlighted with one of my custom colors 😬 It is well worth the donations I’ve made. Probably time for another contribution to support more features I hear are coming. I have the FIP text and this is so much easier to read without the editing that it is laden with. The footnotes and especially the cameos have been beyond useful in helping me to understand the content better. Again, thank you with the utmost sincerity for providing this option for reading and studying the Course. I'm now inclined to join the community. ### 5/5 — Finally, I understand. *2025-02-16* I first picked up the Course in Miracles in 1978. Over the years, I’d pick it up and put it down: confusion, not understanding. Now, it was suggested that I look at this app. Amazing!! Beautifully crafted, I am able to read and listen, highlight, add notes, keep track of my place in each of the books and pages. Using this app and being a member of circleoa.org is of inestimate worth. ### 5/5 — New highlights not working *2025-01-15* I am thankful for this edition with the reminders. I have previously been using a paid app to remind me and now it’s all in one. I do have a request. I am not able to add any new highlights since the update, and my old highlights are only accessible through the three dots. Do I need to change a setting somewhere? I almost didn't take the course. Thank you for this app. ### 5/5 — Will not work on iphone 12 pro *2024-10-09* I have to delete the app and download it from the store every time i want to use it on my iphone. This is unusable unfortunately. I have submitted a problem request but have not received a response. The issue has been resolved **Developer response:** Apologies for the late response. I'm aware there are some issues with some iOS devices that are crashing and showing white screens when being opened from other apps. I have been researching into it think I may have found the problem. The Circle cannot currently afford more than a single developer for this project, and as the sole developer of this app, it's difficult to stay on top of everything at once. It is a massive project I've been working diligently on for the last 3 or so years and keep in mind is free. Since the time you've made this review, I've been busy getting native reminders working, which was a huge undertaking and took all of my focus. I'm also not aware of any channel of communication where you submitted a problem request, so if you can please e-mail me at peter@circleofa.org in the future that would be great. App is easy to use *2024-09-13, version 2.0.9* This is the full ACIM Complete & Annotated Edition, and it has free audio for the entire book as well. It allows you to open multiple tabs so you can keep your places in the Text & the Workbook without any trouble if you want. App works great. I haven’t encountered any problems. WHY!?! Why not just let it say what it says? Every experience of spiritual transformation will be personal. Jesus can speak for Himself. ### 2/5 — Redesign not good *2026-07-22, version 2.4.4* New interface is not as clean, easier to accidentally click buttons and requires more clicks to resume where I left off. ### 2/5 — Love the app....mostly *2025-04-29, version 2.2.9* I love the app when it works but every two to three days it won't let me click on my daily lesson and the only way to fix it is to restart my phone. Very frustrating and needs to be rectified please. ### 2/5 — Biased notes distort the ACIM teaching *2023-08-03* The “annotation” is someone’s opinions of the course, which I disagree with. These notes may skew the understanding of the book for those who have not studied it before. An example is one note that says sex is for creating children and another note disparages homosexuality. I have studied ACIM from several teachers and have never seen these opinions expressed in the actual text. To me those opinions contradict some of the basic tenets of ACIM so I am baffled why anyone would think they belong in an app. **Developer response:** Hi Wendy, the whole concept of this edition is that we went back to the original handwritten notes that Helen Schucman took down from the inner voice that dictated A Course in Miracles to her. We transcribed those notes over many years and then edited a new edition of the Course from them, doing our best to preserve the original wording. The teachings you are referring to are from those notes—from the author of the Course. This “new” information can be startling, but it most assuredly was not made up by us. The footnotes don’t introduce new teaching, but just attempt to help readers with various passages. In fact, the reason we undertook this edition was to get the editors as much as possible out of the process. We believe the more familiar edition of the Course was too heavily edited, and thus had too much human influence in it. So as you read our edition, realize you are reading something with less change introduced by the editors rather than more. ### 4/5 — Great resource for the serious course student *2023-09-06* Well designed app and easy to navigate. I really like being able to access this version of the course on my phone. Absolutely excellent. *2026-03-16* The fullest version available of A Course in Miracles. With helpful explanations throughout the book as well as clear workbook instructions and suggestions in order to get the most out of each lesson. Many helpful features as well. The 31 cameos written by Robert Perry are excellent insights into the scribing of the book. It’s the only version I read every single day. Very thankful for this edition by Circle of Atonement.
