## What is A?

A-EFIS is an Electronic Flight Information System for airplanes, which runs right on your iPhone/iPad. A-EFIS works perfectly with the internal sensors of your iPhone/iPad  

A-EFIS makes use of digital filtering methods and state-of-the-art stochastic models in order to achieve exceptional accuracy and robustness. 

ATTENTION: A-EFIS ONLY WORKS ON AIRPLANES. NOT TO BE USED IN HELICOPTERS OR LAND VEHICLES BECAUSE INDICATIONS WILL NOT BE CORRECT. USE ONLY IN AN AIRPLANE!

### 3/5 — A little rough at the edges

Seems to work, but I have not flown it yet.  Using iPhone 5s 64g. “Manual” is blank and the screen keeps popping up “fixed portrait orientation” messages, several at a time.  Cannot find a way to get anything other than a portrait display.

**Developer response:** For the manual, please wait a few seconds to let it download. To save your phone’s memory, it is not stored locally. For landscape orientation, please exit a-efis, rotate your phone, and restart a-efis. The orientation is determined automatically, every time you start the app. For further assistance please contact support@e-efis.com
