Like the app. Recording my voice is very helpful for my daughter’s spelling practice, but the support email bounces back as invalid and I can’t create an account to share settings/lists.

After buying both the basic and pro version of this app I am still not able to create an account (I receive “error 402” This application has exceeded the plans limits and payment is required.)
Without an account I cannot import spelling lists from my iPad to my iPhone.
I have emailed customer support and I’m pending their reply. 
The app is what I want.  I can add words and vice recordings. It logs tests and sends reports.
Two stars because of the account creation frustration/failure.

This really has been helping my children with spelling, and was an app I recommend to many people. Unfortunately I’m no longer able to upload which makes the purchased version not act the way it is advertised. I’ve sent many emails and did not get a reply to any of them.

It does what I need it to, sort of. The prepared lists are nice, but it would be nicer if you could just pick and choose individual words from a larger pool so that you can make custom lists that take advantage of the already recorded words. As it stands, the recording time allowed is far too short to give an example of the word used in a sentence.  If anyone is at all familiar with the English language then they would know that context clues are absolutely necessary for understanding how a particular word is spelled. Too bad that this app falls short on those two big areas. It could have been very useful otherwise.

I purchased the pro version of this app but receive an error when attempting to create an account that is necessary to use what I paid for. The error states: Sign Up Error {“code”:402,”message”This application has exceeded the plans limits and payment is required.”} I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well as trying the app on other iPads, all with the same error.  I emailed the developer and included a screenshot of the error, but have not received any replies. The developer claims that “heroic support” is their “way of life.” Apparently, their way of life is really taking money for features that don’t work and then leaving you high and dry. It’s too bad because overall it seems like a great app if it actually worked. I’ll have to find something else for my classroom.

I paid for the pro app based on the listed features, including sharing the list. 

I can not create an account as it says unauthorized or gives an error that the app has exceeded the plans limits and payment is required.

If the app is broken they shouldn’t be charging for it. I have emailed support and am waiting for a reply.   Buy at your own risk.

I had this app on all my kids devices and spent hours putting in custom spelling lists. I can no longer import them onto new devices. Very disappointed in all the work I have lost.

This was a great app, now it is terrible! Won’t let me upload or download keeps telling me I’m unauthorized. If that is the case I wish I can have my money back. Not happy

My students rely on this app, but within the last few days it has become unusable. An error message pops up and all of my lists have disappeared. I've emailed support with no response from them. I even upgraded to the pro version thinking that would fix my problem.  This is very disappointing because it looks like others are having the same problem.

Update:
This was a great app until a recent update broke the ability to export/sync lists.  Any attempt to login says "unauthorized".  The audio playback has become spotty under iOS 10.3.3, and the record length could use to be about 2 seconds longer.

This is a great app that allows you to enter in your child's spelling lists every week. In addition you get to record your voice saying the word and there is enough time for a quick sentence using the word. This is especially helpful if this is how the teacher does the test. Great practice rounds and there is even a feature that allows them to keep practicing the words they missed without redoing the whole list. The test mode also show the words they missed and how they spelled it.  The bonus is if you have your child say the sentences for the words, you have a great recoding if their voice at that time.  We have been using this app for two years and it is great to pull up the lists from the first year and hear my child's voice and sentences from last year. Highly highly recommend.

Bought the paid version of this app and it won't let me create an account or import lists... this is a problem when you need to move a big list from one device to another... if this gets fixed as I paid for it I would gladly update star rating

This is a great app and I love the built in spelling lists however, I do fine the American voice hard to understand sometimes. Would be nice if there was a option to hear a while sentence. Also, would be so helpful if the list of misspelled words was a sleeping list of its own. Add those things and it would be a 5 star.

This is a great app which can be specialized for assistance in spelling. 
    One can easily create lists; words within those lists; add your own voice for pronunciation of the word, practice before testing; try various kinds of testing (conventional and unscrambling a word); send test results to specified email addresses; even share a newly created list with someone. 
     You can combine lists into a new list. 
     However, I would like to have a bit more editing capability:  
like the ability to edit an existing word (currently one can only delete it and make the word anew) this would apply to both the physically written word AND its vocal pronunciation;
the ability to move words from within lists to a different list (not just move lists and create a newly named list); once words or lists are combined, have the choice to delete the words/lists copied. As it is now you have to enter the edit mode and delete all the lists that were combined - time consuming. Basically a "move" feature would be helpful. That way combined lists could just be moved to a new location and not reside both in the new list AND separately. 
    Overall, it is a nice app.

This app was recommended by my daughter’s teacher. I tried the free version and it didn’t work. I purchased the pro version thinking it would work, but it didn’t either. I just wasted money on an app that hasn’t been updated in over 2 years.

Great buy if you want the app to take your money and not be able to enter any words. As other reviews mentioned it says you need to purchase this app. As I have. Very frustrated. Really wanted to use this app.

I upgraded to Pro and can’t upload/sync.
I’ve sent numerous emails to tech support and no response.
Please add a patch to this app so we can upload/sync.
Right now a “402” error comes up when you try.
You can’t even login or go through the login recovery.....
When it does work, it’s a great app.

I would love to love this app, but it won’t let me create an account because payment is required, which I paid for the app 2 days ago when I downloaded it.  I’ve contacted support two times with no response.  Fix this issue and my rating would be much improved.

I bought this pro version so I could import/back up the spelling list from my phone to my children’s devices.  Apparently you can’t log in to more than 3 devices or it locks you out.  Saying you exceeded your limit and must pay more.  There isn’t even a way to pay more.  So basically it just bricked the pro version of the app.   I have tried emailing them, no response in over a week.  DO NOT BUY.

This is a great app for children who are having a hard time with spelling. It's very easy to use, they can practice and take quizzes and you can see what words they are having problems with, and show them the correct way to spell them.
