Wish this app was introduced earlier in Study. I find it very useful! Have used prayer list on my iPhone but not been good about keeping it organized or updated. This app is easy to use and encourages adding scripture to each prayer need. It even has suggestions categorized by subject. Suggested improvements Increase text size of prayer card title. Add place for scripture on each prayer entry for a person or group. Add a way to mark prayer entries as answered and move to bottom of card. Add the option to create account so app will sync with other devices. ### 4/5 — Technical issue *2023-10-02, version 1.1.2* I really enjoy this app, but I’m having a technical issue with it. I keep my iPhone in dark mode, but in dark mode the title of the card (the subject of the prayer card) disappears completely, but when I switch it to light mode, the title of the card reappears. I am willing to help with testing/reviewing of the Chinese version of the app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not a fan *2018-10-06, version 1.1.0* At first try, this is not a well engineered iPhone app. PrayerCards added cannot be shared between iPhone & iPad. The text entry box is too small, just 1 line can be seen while typing. I can’t see the full request that I entered at one time. The suggested spelling of words on the iPhone is disabled. I’ll continue to use the Notes app. I hope the donation I gave for this app will help pay to improve it. Don’t buy this app until they come out with a better version! ### 2/5 — Great Concept *2025-02-16, version 1.3.0* While it’s a great concept, I spend more time trying to add scriptures, editing scriptures or requests or other information, saving what I entered, or trying to navigate the information than is necessary. In some instances I found I could only see a line of the information and not able to scroll. I am hoping this app will become more user-friendly as time goes by. Even trying to submit this review I was frustrated because after hitting the submit button, the review disappeared and told me I couldn’t submit (sigh!). ### 2/5 — Hmmm *2024-12-01, version 1.3.0* Could be user error but a scripture entered on any card replaces the scripture on all cards. ### 2/5 — Isn’t very helpful *2022-09-26, version 1.1.1* If this app had notifications to pray for the requests at specific times and days of the week, this would be perfect. Odd letters added randomly after I save a prayer request - both in the items I write and the preloaded scripture. I make changes, and it will save, but when I go back the next day it is back to the random letters again. Very frustrating. I would also like the ability to write scripture in different Bible versions. If they are similar, it will change my added scripture to the preloaded one which is also frustrating. ### 3/5 — Completed Prayers? *2019-07-15, version 1.1.1* I am just getting started with this app after reading Paul’s book. I am looking forward to getting more in they habit of practicing regular planned prayer. One thing I was looking forward to was the ability to check off or track completed prayers as a way to see how God is moving through my life, but the app doesn’t have that ability. Pls consider including that into a future release. It allows for an organized way of praying through scripture and requests for people on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis! But even better than the app is Paul Miller’s book A Praying Life. This book completely changed my perspective on prayer and God is continuing to change my life through it.
