I'm 62 yo and really enjoy refreshing my memory of U.S. geography. Looking forward to your updates and variations. The game goes off when I am half way through. Northeastern states are SO small that app should magnify. Your finger covers Delaware so it makes it extremely to get in the exact location even when you know exactly where it is. Also, is one is missed the game should continue and give an average score in all portions of the game. I got this for my elementary son to learn his states on the map - but I deleted it before I even let him play it. It is THAT bad. It was okay for me, but I think the narrator voice on here would just mess the poor kid up. ### 2/5 — Used to be good... *2020-10-18, version 2.4* This app used to be great! I recommended it for my students. However, the voice of the person saying the state names has changed, and the names aren’t pronounced correctly. It’s making it difficult for my 3 year old to learn the state names. Fix this, and it will be great again! ### 3/5 — United States Map *2012-04-26, version 2.0* Great idea. Excellent teaching/learning tool. However, small states are difficult to place and it offers very little on info about the state other than the capitol. Interesting activities, festivals, state birds/flowers, crops etc can teach quite a bit more than just the simple basics available right now. As a learning tool, it's just basic. First the music has to go...it's very annoying. Second, I can not even hear the names of the states over the background music. Third, it needs a zoom feature when trying to place the small states along the East coast. Also, I would suggest another trivia level asking which capital belongs to the state. PLEASE fix this. But maybe even more importantly, I have a heck of a time manipulating the tiny states into position. I haven't shown the game yet to my grandson so I don't know if his small fingers would be able to do it more easily. But otherwise it does what it says it does and what I was looking for. ### 5/5 — Fun for Kids & Adults *2014-12-17, version 2.1* Purchased this for granddaughter, she is in kindergarten & thanks to this app she knows all states & their location within US. She is gradually learning all state capitals. We need challenging apps to help little ones learn, not dummy down. Even the adults in the house try to see who's the fastest to complete. I downloaded it, and my daughter has been playing with it ever since. She picked up the states' placements super fast, in about one day. She can even name them by the shape (!) .
