## What is A Step Ahead Challenge?

It's finally happened... the apocalypse is here and your only hope for survival is to outrun the zombies, rogue robots and alien invaders who've taken over!

A Step Ahead™ is a walking adventure game that's powered by your physical activity. Use your real-world steps and exercise to complete missions in the wasteland, upgrade your character, and go on an epic fitness adventure.

Getting started is simple:
1. Download the A Step Ahead™ app
2. Click your organization's personalized invite link or enter the Invite Code for your organization's challenge in the ASA app**
3. Use your real-world steps and exercise to go on an interactive fitness adventure

The Outbreak™
Zombies are here… and they're hungry! You and your team will face a variety of challenges, obstacles and distance goals as you run (or walk) through a zombie-infested wasteland, helping other survivors and working to help those in need and rebuild society. 

Robotica™
What happens when the world's richest man, Albus Mousse, builds a sentient A.I. and charges it with protecting humanity? It determines that the biggest threat to mankind is… mankind. Race to avoid capture while you look for a way to shut down the servers and free the people "helped" by the army of rogue robots. 

Invasion™
They came from beyond the horizon, but why? And for what? Alien invaders are here and they're setting up shop on planet Earth. Work with your team across this adventure series to figure out why the aliens are here and how to get them to leave the planet. 

Seasons+™
A special series for challenges themed around the seasons, holidays, and special series crossover missions.

I was looking for a free walking app that plays like a game but every time I turn around, they’re trying to charge me. I was finally able to get the joint code but now they want to charge me for a game ticket as well. I can only imagine that once I pay for the game ticket they’re gonna find something else to charge me for. This is not a free app like they advertised. It’s an absolute lie.

My company used this app for a team challenge and has used it in the past. This time was very frustrating, there were so many issues with syncing and almost a full day when the app wouldn’t even load.

I like the overall function of this app and different themes available for team challenges.  Every time I need to sync steps I have to wait through an extremely long load screen animation.  Cool logo, I’m tired of seeing it change texture. Just let me sync steps and slay goblins/zombies/aliens.

The app stopped tracking my steps for our challenge and when I messaged support they took 2 full days to respond and responded with a very unhelpful response and no regard to help resolve the issue. I’d think twice about choosing to use this app for your step challenge because if anything goes wrong you will not get any help.

Their support team is completely unhelpful and rude. Don’t bother using this if you have Pixel or can’t connect a smart watch because your steps will either not be counted at all or only a portion of them, and support will not assist.

The app shuts down a lot and continued to log us out during a work challenge.  Also the app doesn’t always sync with Health right away so it’s sometimes hard to tell how many steps you’ve truly accrued.  It definitely still needs some work, but overall we enjoyed it.
