### 3/5 — app HS

*2018-05-28*

bonjour

**Developer response:** I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected. Please try to configure A2DPblocker in the following way:

1) Pair your Bluetooth enabled iOS device with your Bluetooth car kit, headset, etc.
2) Launch A2DPblocker and ensure "A2DP Blocker" switch is ON.
3) Add a downloaded non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track from your music library to the Playback Queue and adjust the independent volume slider to guarantee A2DP is blocked.
4) Ensure "Remote Control" switch is OFF.
5) Set Default Audio to "speaker+" / "receiver" / "speaker" to block A2DP or "headset+" to default audio output via HFP.
6) Play Playback Queue.
7) Press the home button to minimize A2DPblocker (do not close A2DPblocker from the app switcher).
8) Launch and configure your other audio app or begin playing the iPod with the built-in iPod controls or an attached accessory.

### 1/5 — Does not work, want refund

*2018-05-07*

Does not work and I want my money back

**Developer response:** I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected. Refunds must be requested directly from Apple.

Please make sure that you configure A2DPblocker in the following way:

1) Pair your Bluetooth enabled iOS device with your Bluetooth car kit, headset, etc.
2) Launch A2DPblocker and ensure "A2DP Blocker" switch is ON.
3) Add a downloaded non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track from your music library to the Playback Queue and adjust the independent volume slider to guarantee A2DP is blocked.
4) Ensure "Remote Control" switch is OFF.

### 1/5 — Not working at all

*2018-04-20, version 1.5.2*

Would like a refund ASAP. This app is no good

### 3/5 — Works but could be better

*2018-04-20, version 1.5.2*

It’s annoying that the app doesn’t run in the background. If you leave the app (go to home screen or maximize any other app) it will disconnect from the Bluetooth device.

More annoying is if you try to use navigation with this it will disconnect and stop working after the first set of directions (again probably because the navigation app takes priority and this won’t stay on in the background. Android has free apps that work better than this paid app for iOS.

It works but it’s not stellar. Unfortunately there aren’t many alternatives, as far as I can tell

### 2/5 — Does not work with iOS 11

*2018-01-26*

I got this thinking I could play music like normal through Bluetooth. Technically it does play music but when you click “next” the app plays the next song... while still playing the current song simultaneously! This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

**Developer response:** I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected. Please make sure that you adjust the independent volume slider for the Playback Queue when A2DPblocker is configured in the following way:

### 1/5 — Not Working

*2017-07-11, version 1.5.1*

I want a complete REFUND!!!

### 2/5 — Great idea

*2017-06-05*

I love the idea of this and it's very clever to bypass the A2Dp and trick your car into thinking your receiving a call to play music. But the quality is dire and this should be mentioned on the description as I've now wasted £2.99.
But without people trying out new ideas we wouldn't innovate so good effort.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2017-04-28, version 1.5*

Bad I just pay my money and the I can't even open the apps what kind nd of bs is this

### 1/5 — Only Works In the Foreground…

*2017-04-11, version 1.5*

…which makes it useless.

### 1/5 — Horrible sound quality

*2017-03-28, version 1.5*

I read the reviews before purchasing and no one mentioned how horrible the sound quality is, just like the other apps that use A2DP streaming, save your money.

### 1/5 — Poor quality and keeps crashing

*2017-02-18*

Really bad and a waste of money do not get

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crap!

*2023-08-10*

Bought to play out of 2 speakers. Doesn’t work.

**Developer response:** I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected.

First you will need to add a non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track to your music library via the iTunes Store app or via iTunes on Mac/PC. Then make sure that you configure A2DPblocker in the following way:

7) Minimize A2DPblocker to the background, but do not close A2DPblocker from the app switcher.
8) Launch and configure your other audio app or begin playing the iPod with the built-in iPod controls or an attached accessory.

Don’t buy it

### 1/5 — I need a refund

*2020-07-19, version 1.7.2*

The audio streaming is very poor when you run it through the app, it loses audio quality when compared to the Bluetooth steaming. Plus you only limited on streaming your own music. You can steam Pandora or spotify. I request a full refund from the developer since it didn't meet my expectations. Thank you!

### 1/5 — Will not work in background

*2019-01-14*

Battery drainer. The app has to be actively displayed on your phone. You cannot use your phone for ANYTHING else if you want to listen.

**Developer response:** I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected. Please make sure that you use the Playback Queue so the app will continue working in the background.

Just make sure that you configure A2DPblocker in the following way:

1) Pair your Bluetooth enabled iOS device with your Bluetooth car kit, headset, etc.
2) Launch A2DPblocker and ensure "A2DP Blocker" switch is ON.
3) Add a downloaded non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track from your music library to the Playback Queue and adjust the independent volume slider to guarantee A2DP is blocked.

### 1/5 — Not worth the hassle/money

*2018-09-11*

Tried this, it is not seamless. Expected to launch a podcast and listen without needing additional step of also launching this app. Don’t know how to request a refund!

**Developer response:** I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected. Refunds must be requested directly from Apple. Please consider using the Shortcuts app on iOS 12 to simultaneously launch both apps.

### 1/5 — Não funciona

*2018-08-13*

**Developer response:** You may just need to grant A2DPblocker access to your media library. Go to "Setting / A2DPblocker / Allow A2DPblocker to Access" and enable "Media & Apple Music”. When you first install A2DPblocker it requests access to your media library, which it most certainly needs.

I hope this helps.

### 1/5 — Can’t use

**Developer response:** Thanks for supporting A2DPblocker!

### 5/5 — Best A2DP blocker

*2017-06-06*

By far best way to play Bluetooth audio on a headset!

**Developer response:** Thanks for supporting A2DPblocker!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2016-12-07, version 1.5*

Let's you stream in your car's regular (low quality) Bluetooth.

### 5/5 — So Happy This App Solved My Problem

*2016-07-07*

I have a 2014 BMW and the iPhone 7. I travel a lot and always listened to podcasts in the car. All of a sudden I could not listen to them. Everything was connected but there was no sound. Also, my bluetooth had turned off.

I went to the BMW dealer, and I don't know what he did, but he got my Bluetooth to work again. I can usually figure these things out myself. However, the podcasts were still not working and I could get no sound. He told me that podcasts are not suppoted. Huh? I had been listning to them for over a year.

I found this app, and figured I would try it for $2.99. I followed the directions in the app exactly. And then the podcasts started working! I don't know exactly what this app does, but it does what it claimed.

### 5/5 — Prima für Navi-Apps ohne HFP-Ausgabe

*2016-04-08*

Funktioniert prima!

### 5/5 — Motorcycle headset

*2016-01-15*

I bought a cheap Bluetooth headset from EBay but it would only work with calls not CoPilot or music. Using this app I've got all sound going to the headset at perfectly acceptable quality (given ambient noise on a bike) for my needs. Excellent and economical solution to my problem.

### 5/5 — Juste ce qu'il me fallait

*2015-09-21*
