### 4/5 — Was working great until IOS 16 update

*2022-10-03, version 3.7.0*

Amazing program but as soon as i updated to IOS 16 it turned all my model gray unless i hold them down. Hope they fix the issue.

### 4/5 — Good, but not great

*2020-04-20, version 3.5*

This app allows me to open work files in the field from my ipad, which is great! But I wish it was easier to submit markups to the engineer showing whats been done, or needs changed. All in all it has simplified my work and the work of the engineer because they can email me the file instead of printing copies like before. For the price (free) its unbeatable!

### 4/5 — Tricky but so affective once you get into it.

*2020-04-10, version 3.5*

I like the features, my biggest issue is that my current project has gone over 200M so I have to carry sections. But there is no substitute when you can show production how things should go beyond a flat page in the field. It is more suited to the ipad but on the larger phones it is handy.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2020-04-08, version 3.5*

Can’t always open files created by my contractor. The message says to try again later or contact us, but “contact us” is just a FAQ forum.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect... but...

*2020-03-15, version 3.5*

This app is great for low power viewing of your projects. The ONLY problem with it is that you can’t show hidden objects in Fusion 360 files. If that feature was added, this app could replace and simplify a whole lot of my workload, and make a lot of stuff easier.

### 4/5 — Isolate an object will not 360° scroll

*2020-02-29, version 3.5*

I am in the HVAC business that deals with large cad prints etc. A360 would allow me to isolate a fitting or piece of duct and scroll 360° around it.. I believe an update was issued recently not allowing me to perform this task. Am I missing a new tool to perform this task? Otherwise good app for bim coordination.

### 4/5 — Used in the field to view model space details

*2019-04-20, version 3.4.5*

It worked for me for what I intended it to. Didn’t see where I could view paper space. I was working on the fly and didn’t take the time to learn what this can do. So, maybe operator error. However, field guys where impressed. Used on IPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen.

### 4/5 — Great for collaboration

*2019-02-22, version 3.4.4*

I use Revit and have been using A360 as a collaborative tool for my customers and they have thoroughly enjoyed the interactive experience. It can be awkward at first but I feel it just takes some time getting used to the controls, as true with any program. But as a whole it’s been absolutely great to be able to upload projects and revisions and be able to communicate with my customers as convenient to both of us without having to schedule meetings and conferences. Definitely a time saver!

### 4/5 — Good viewer

*2019-01-09, version 3.4.3*

I do my drawings on my desktop and email them to myself. Then open them on my iPad with this app and show the shop/ engineers/ executives/ etc. my 3D design. They can simply rotate and zoom with their fingertips. Works great for me.

### 5/5 — Construction superintendent

*2018-12-14, version 3.4.2*

This program is extremely useful for visualization as well as planning and estimating on large, complex construction projects. A three-dimensional model assists greatly when referencing between two dimensional pages of design drawings.

### 5/5 — Fusion360 and this integrated app has been amazing for our startup.

*2018-11-08, version 3.4*

Only keeps getting better!

### 4/5 — Look nowhere else!

*2018-11-05, version 3.4*

Great app. When I need to view my CAD models away from my computer, or, more importantly, upload one when I’m away, there’s no other like it. Just wish it had a few more features such as section views and, if even possible, to simulate pre-written tool paths from the CAM workspace to ponder any improvements when I’m away.

### 1/5 — One more reason to dislike Autodesk

*2023-01-24, version 3.7.0*

As with everything Autodesk does they overcomplicate and over integrate everything.
All I want to do is look at a file from my phone. That’s it. I don’t want to edit, track changes build a team on the web etc etc. just look at it.

### 1/5 — When was this last updated?

*2021-06-01, version 3.5.4*

This app needs a profuse amount of work… I have 14Gbs. of files ranging between 2D and 3D project files such as parts, plans and assemblies. Nothing 3D works. I am using an iPad and loading from iCloud Drive and Google Drive. Absolutely nothing is responding. Also, can’t create folders and name them. A constant error stops me from doing something as basic as that. Very expensive drafting software that is unintuitive, with dated iPhone and iPad apps that are unreliable… Good image Autodesk. *-*

If this changes and gets resolved, I’ll be happy to update my review.

### 1/5 — Morons.

*2018-11-01, version 3.4*

They got rid of the only useful feature, the ability to store CAD files offline for usage. It has left our business scrambling as we work outside of cellphone service and need access to these CAD files to do any work. Absolutely do not recommend.

Now even if we try to use these files which are quite large when on WiFi the app just crashes. Find a different program.

### 1/5 — Awkward file access doesn't even work.

*2017-10-05, version 3.1*

I wanted to view some DXF files from vendor web sites. On the iPad I have to download to iPad, upload to google drive, then go to "upload" in A360, upload the file to AutoDesk, and then...
...then it says "unable to generate preview, try uploading again or contact us for assistance". Like the rest of the world, I detest sitting on hold to have someone read from a bad Dilbert script. "Have you tried erasing your device without backing up?"..."Yes, several times." and I didn't waste my time.
The simple truth is this app is all predicated on AutoDesk holding all the files on their servers and it isn't a useful viewer for DXF files on the web.
That means it's only good for internally generated drawings, but honestly, I can't see why any company with even the slightest sense of self-preservation would put their proprietary drawings and intellectual property in the hands of a 3rd party. AutoDesk has pretty much created one-stop shopping for industrial espionage. It's as good as guaranteed that it will make its way into the hands of a long list of competitors starting with the Chinese state design bureaus and large multinationals. The aggregate value of all the proprietary design drawings will be so large that I don't see how they could afford to do what it would take to secure it all from theft through the net or by physical access.

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2023-01-04, version 3.7.0*

When the app keeps me signed in I love it. There are a few other bugs but lately it just won’t keep me signed in for daily work! Fix that issue and I’ll add another star for sure

### 3/5 — Upload issue

*2022-06-30, version 3.6.0*

The app was working for me a week ago on my iphone 13, now whenever I try and upload a dwf file the upload fails every time. I have tried multiple dwf files, even ones that I was previously able to upload. I have tried removing the app and reinstalling. I have also tried saving the file directly to my phone and uploading it that way, same issue.

### 3/5 — More file types

*2021-06-29, version 3.5.4*

Great app, very powerful. Just would like to see it be able to open assemblies better in different file types.

### 3/5 — Don’t bother unless you don’t have AutoCAD mobile

*2021-02-28, version 3.5.3*

If you don’t have AutoCAD mobile, this is useful, with limitations.

Unless you’re in an office, all this does is let you view .dwg files, something you can already do in ACAD. You can’t export them to PDF for sharing, either.

Simpler to load your plans as PDF files, mark them up in a PDF editor and share them on the site as needed, email them... And you can share the PDF files with a flash drive or airdrop in the field, no internet needed.

Kinda wondering if this was a solution out looking for a problem.

### 3/5 — Still needs work

*2019-03-29, version 3.4.5*

I really enjoy having access to view 3D models on the app however the 2D wireframe being the only option to view the model needs improvements. Being able to view conceptually/hidden would be great since these models are being created for clients. Also redlining/revising the model would be great too because right now I just see it as a viewing tool and it should be a lot more than that.

### 3/5 — It's ok.

*2016-08-18, version 3.1*

I seem to get a lot of error messages, telling me I don't have permission to view the file, when I'm the one who uploaded it. I also seem to get a lot of "oops something went wrong" or " there is no data associated with this file". When I go to the website, the data is there.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome Tool

*2022-12-30, version 3.7.0*

My team can see my CAD drawings on their IPads and look at the file in 3D it’s simple to use and you can measure from the app!

### 5/5 — Powerful

*2022-08-01, version 3.6.0*

I use the software as a hobbyist. It takes time to get proficient, but we’ll worth the time investment. The program is flexible and allows solutions by many paths. I do not always accomplish the end result most elegantly, but I can get there one way or another. I was doing 2D CNC, then 3D CNC, then 3D prints. The cam programs offer lots of options to get the job done. I like the info boxes that pop up for guidance. I run the Makerspace at the local library and help patrons design their 3D and CNC projects. Without Fusion360, a lot of their goals wouldn’t be reached.

### 5/5 — Idea Sharing

*2021-10-03, version 3.5.4*

Engineers and designers, almost by default, share ideas using diagrams, pictures, drawings and sketches. Go into any engineer’s office and likely there is a white board (occasionally chalk) covered in equations and sketches.

I find this app very useful for that purpose.

### 5/5 — Nice product

*2020-07-10, version 3.5*

This is a helpful companion product (on my iPad) to supplement my efforts on Windows laptop.

Looks like AutoDesk is progressive... moving forward!

### 5/5 — The Future and the present

*2020-01-20, version 3.4.8*

AutoDesk360 is an absolutely essential teaching tool in the field. As a superintendent it’s been instrumental making sure everyone has the same vision.

### 5/5 — EXCITED

*2019-11-16, version 3.4.7*

I have not even downloaded the app yet and by all means .... I’m very excited to where I can smell a #2 Pencil. So there for with that expression I’m downloading app now!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2019-09-11, version 3.4.6*

Very easy to use on phone. Easy to access all models on cloud. Load fast.

### 5/5 — Comercial Construction Senior Superintendent Who LOVES THIS

*2019-04-04, version 3.4.5*

Hands-Down THE MOST BENEFICIAL collaboration software I’ve used. Our company has employees all over the country that are able to stay seamlessly connected in realtime with ‘Data Bulky’ model files that aren’t easily shared much less navigated all in one format. Hats off to y’all..!

### 5/5 — Pretty good

*2019-03-11, version 3.4.4*

It is really good. No as good as BImx in terms of visualizing the 3d model inside but you can also see the sheets and mark them up.

### 5/5 — They get it

*2019-03-09, version 3.4.4*

Autodesk is in touch with current industrial design practice and culture than any other. The only challenge is getting the stubborn dinosaurs to use their collaboration tools.
