Quick and to the point and able to deal with it. Password protected, private, can easily edit. There are things I find difficult about it as I’m not the techiest person! I don’t understand how to delete a typo when I come back to it and notice it the next time I come on, such as a name. I don’t know how to erase the questions in order to have more space to write my resentment. The print is very small for me and difficult for me to read as I am a senior. The format is great and much better than handwriting all of the pertinent information. I’m very grateful to the person who developed this tool for recovery. I wish there was a way to communicate with them to gain an understanding of how to use it more appropriately for those of us who are not savvy about technology. I decided to search for it and hear it was! I love it! It is exactly the way we are taught in the big book! And you have to do the columns one at a time the way it supposed to be done! After a paragraph is complete or even several paragraphs. They are all instantly deleted and it’s blank. The app crashes every single time I go to print. I have yet to be able to use this app successfully. ### 1/5 — Not the real thing *2021-01-03, version 1.5* Shame on you, using the A.A name to sell this free app. Using check marks in an app (during a particularly boring Zoom meeting?) rather than engaging in a prayerful, introspective process with a sponsor who has done the same work and had a spiritual awakening because of it. Great concept and it actually prompts inventory taking as outlined in the BB...but the execution is HORRIBLE. Couldn’t make it through the first entry without getting frustrated. Looked at the help section and it’s ridiculous. It’s easier to put pen paper than deal with how frustrating actually using his app is. I never leave reviews but I think because the concept has so much potential, that perhaps the maker can grow in understanding and effectiveness and fix user friendliness. Will look for another app and stick with My Spiritual Toolkit instead. Ugh also it leaves an extra unopenable app button on home screen that can’t be deleted even when I deleted the app. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2018-02-08* I love the concept of the app and was eager to use it as a tool to help get me moving ahead with the step four. The convenience of being able to enter thoughts through an app on my phone seemed very appealing. However, as I began to use it I found that after entering text into some of the text boxes/forms, when I went back to view it, much of the text I had entered was gone and I have to keep reentering it. But there's a little bug in the PDF translation. The Fourth column checklist is not accurately being represented in the PDF. For example, I checked selfish and inconsiderate in the fourth column in the app. But the PDF put the check marks under selfish and self seeking. I think you guys might just have an mismatch in the ordering between the list in the app and the list in the PDF. I then used the inventory I created on the app to do my 5th step with my friend/sponsor. The app works well for what it is. It’s a simple tool to help accomplish the work the Bjg Book tells us to do. If I can offer any advice it is don’t put off your 4th step. Get it done and find someone like the Big Book says to do your 5th. I know it is scary but I promise it’s totally worth it!!!!
