Nobody called me and when i told them they said they can’t pick it up before next monday. This is not fair. ### 1/5 — Very bad service *2024-12-19* Their service pathetically bad. What they collect is just biomedical waste. They’ve lot of options in their app. But none of them works except biomedical waste. I had booked for solid waste ( used furniture) through their customer care personnel. I asked them, why it’s not possible to book through their app? The customer care personnel said, any sort of booking is through biomedical waste option and customer care lady herself arranged for pickup. Today morning when that pickup person came , he was laughing at me.. I felt their behavioural arrogance disgusting… Any startup companies would survive purely on customer satisfaction. Understand that.. Dr. Joshie. ### 1/5 — Bad service *2024-08-16* Very bad experience we are waiting for them with the bunch of diapers more than one month after the request through this application. Very disappointing service. Every scheduled date will change after the exact day they want to pickup, and they cancelled themselves my request even not informing me. Really glad to know we have a waste management system initiated by Aakri. Unfortunately it’s still only in application. First you show your strength in ground. Could you please share your contact details with us on help@aakri.in so that we can get in touch with you and resolve the issue. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2024-03-26* Initially booked the scrap collection after providing the location and chose the date provided by them, but later they changed the pickup date twice without informing me. When checked with customer care first they said date was not changed from their side and later they keep saying collection is available only on that date hence they changed. **Developer response:** Dear Mam, we are sorry that you faced an issue. Could you please share your contact details with us on help@aakri.in so that we can get in touch with you and resolve the issue. ### 1/5 — Very poor literally Non existent service. *2024-03-13* They never collect on time and always have bizarre excuses when you call the customer service especially for bio waste. The have ridiculous charges for service and what not when they should actually be paying the customer for the number of times you’d be calling the customer service for pickup collection confirmation. DO NOT USE this service unless you intend to pile up your waste and stress your mind about menial things. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Irresponsible *2026-06-02* Aakri app service is disappointing. They let you schedule scrap collection , but nobody comes to pick-up. I have complained multiple times and received no response. Most of the time customer care is not taking calls. Finally after two weeks of nagging, I got a call saying they’ll come the next day. But that also got postponed. Such irresponsible service. ### 1/5 — No Response After Booking – Extremely Disappointing Service *2026-05-07* What’s the point of this app and service? I booked a pickup service and still haven’t received any response. No one contacted me, the order status never changed to “Confirmed,” and it’s still stuck in the “Open” stage. The government is not collecting bio waste, and this app claims to provide a proper collection and disposal service — but what’s the use of making such promises if the orders are never confirmed or processed? Extremely disappointing experience and poor service management. ### 1/5 — Very disappointing app *2025-11-10* I downloaded the Aakri app, and during my first pickup everything went smoothly. However, from the very next time onwards, things started getting delayed. They often don’t even answer calls, and when they do, the attitude is very rude — especially from some of the lady staff. It feels like they’re doing a favor instead of providing a service. Every time they promise to pick up “today or tomorrow,” but it’s been over a month and my scheduled order is still pending. Very disappointing experience. If they can’t manage the service properly, then what’s the point of this app? ### 1/5 — Continuous rescheduling *2025-10-30* The schedule date kept changing multiple times, and we had to plan our day around it each time. Because of the delay, disposals and sanitary items piled up. I contacted customer care continuously for 2–3 days, and only after that a technician finally called — but after working hours. I was in a meeting, and instead of waiting or updating properly, he gave 3 quick missed calls and cancelled my request without any notice. Really disappointed with such unprofessional service and poor coordination. ### 1/5 — Useless Pickup Dates, No Responsibility *2025-08-24* Worst experience with this service. What is the use of showing pickup dates in the app if the collection never happens on that date? I booked many times, waited, rebooked, and still nobody came. Customer care only repeats the same line: “this week will come,” but nothing ever happens. Now waste has piled up with no space left at home. Very poor and irresponsible service – the owner must take action and improve immediately. ### 1/5 — Very bad service *2025-08-12* Extremely disappointed with Aakri’s service. I had booked a scrap pickup for Saturday, but no one contacted me till evening. I had to call the support desk myself, and they assured me that pickup would happen on Sunday. However, even by now, no one has shown up. This is the second time I am facing the exact same issue with them. Clearly, their commitments cannot be trusted. Poor coordination, no follow-up, and absolutely unreliable service. I wouldn’t recommend Aakri to anyone looking for a dependable scrap pickup ### 1/5 — 5 star for the effort but *2025-07-12* I was searching for ways to dispose diaper waster in a way which wouldn’t hamper environment, not using diaper is not an easy task , our waste is minimal but still as they said I gathered months pile to send them , after contacting the cc service ,i enquired through them the rate( which was not mentioned in the app), and if they could come to my location ( which was not in their circle, which i pointed out for them , but CC said no problem ) On the day of collection which was 2 days after the scheduled date ( no offence it was told by cc may take time , cause they have only started at this area ) driver was rude and told me its out of the circle , you even don’t know your location, and refused to come just 1 km to my place & cancelled the pick up , i had wait days to dispose these garbage myself due to monsoon season and the huge pile i gathered for them Very poor Hope you improve cause we need more services like this ### 1/5 — Poor Service & Support *2025-06-28* I am fed up with Aakri service & support. I originally booked a scrap order for pickup on 23rd May. Despite multiple complaints over a one month period, no one responsible has contacted me back to assure a pickup date for the scrap. I even had to take day off from work thrice as the pickups were being scheduled on weekdays, each time after a prior check up with Customer support who assured me of a pickup. One time the collecting team did call me, on a weekday when I was at work, mentioning they would come in a few hours time to pickup scrap. Did they expect me to be around home 24/7? There should be a minimum decency to notify a day prior to pickup so that the Customer can make necessary arrangements, clearly Aakri team is not bothered about the Customer and their expectation seema to be for Customer to serve them rather than the other way around. Each time I speak to the Customer support team, I have asked them to give a 1 day notice before pickup, but with no result. Aakri does provide a good platform to environmentally dispose of various types of scrap which is why I chose to go with them but I feel they are increasingly becoming arrogant as they are the only ones having a APP based platform in Cochin for scrap collection. Their inefficiency and lack of a proper escalation structure in Customer support is evident, as a Customer there is no option to escalate. You are allowed to speak to the call operator alone, and evidently this is not working. Keeping fingers crossed that Aakri will someday pickup up my open scrap order and looking forward to a day when they honour a committed schedule. ### 1/5 — Glitch *2025-04-11* Even though it seems to be an excellent helpful app, I have been trying to use it for months but face one or the other glitch every time. First when i tried few months back, i couldn’t create an account due to some error. I had tried from different device and number, still faced the same issue. Later after few months, i thought of giving it a try when i had my house renovation going on. But now, though i am able to create an account, I am unable to add an address without which they don’t let us proceed further. It shows “select a word” even after selecting address type as “home”. Also tried selecting “office”/“others” but had no luck. Please fix this issue. ### 1/5 — No use of this service *2025-03-21* Confirmed schedule to pick-up waste gets postponed each day, with numerous reasons. Whats the purpose of asking users to choose a date for pickup and confirming it, while the service cannot be provided accordingly. You aren’t solving the existing problem, if you cannot collect the waste on time, as waste is not something that can be preserved for you to collect at your convenience. ## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Aakri App Diaper Collection service is a Life saver *2025-12-11* I’ve had a wonderful experience using the Aakri app for baby diaper waste collection. The service is extremely convenient, reliable, and a huge relief for new parents. The process is smooth, the pickup is always on time, and the app itself is very easy to use. A special mention to Kala Sindhu, who handles our collection. She is very professional. Her consistent and friendly service truly makes the experience seamless. It’s good to know that this venture recycles waste materials and contributes their effort to reduce the environment pollution.
