Aangan (आँगन) — your whole family in one app.

Aangan is a private social network designed for Indian families. Built Hindi-first with grandmothers in mind, Aangan replaces a scatter of WhatsApp groups with a single shared home for your पूरा परिवार.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• KULVRIKSH FAMILY TREE — Build your generational tree with husband-wife couple pairs, parents above, children below. Add up to three generations of your family.

• POSTS WITH AUDIENCE CONTROL — Share photos, text, voice notes. Choose who sees each post: just you, immediate family, extended family, or everyone in your aangan.

• EVENTS WITH RSVP — Weddings, birthdays, satsangs, festivals — invite the right family members and track who is coming.

• DAILY PANCHANG — Tithi, nakshatra, vrat, and festival reminders for your family.

• PHONE-OTP LOGIN — No email needed. Just your number. Hindi-first throughout.

• VOICE NOTES — For elders who prefer talking to typing.

WHY AANGAN

We built Aangan because our own dadi-nani could not keep up with WhatsApp tiny text, English buttons, and scattered chats. Every screen passes the Dadi Test: large tap targets, big Hindi text, simple flows.

• उत्सव हटाने/संग्रह के बटन अब आसान जगह पर — पन्ने के सबसे नीचे और सूची में भी। Event delete/archive buttons are now easy to find — at the bottom of the event page and right on the events list.

न्यौते अब सच में पहुँचते हैं — यह इस अपडेट की सबसे बड़ी बात है।

- न्यौता भेजना ठीक किया गया: contacts से चुने नंबर पर WhatsApp खुलने में गड़बड़ी थी, अब हर नंबर सही बनता है
- अब पता चलता है कि न्यौता किसने खोला — "भेजे → पहुँचे → जवाब → जुड़े" की साफ़ गिनती
- जो न्यौते सच में नहीं गए, वे अब "भेज दिया" नहीं दिखते
- आयोजन की जगह नक़्शे पर लगाइए (GPS) — और "पहुँच गए?" चेक-इन अब काम करता है

Invites now actually arrive — that is the headline of this update.

- Fixed invite sending: WhatsApp failed to open correctly for contact-picked numbers. Every number is now built properly
- See who has opened their invite — a clear Sent, Reached, Replied, Joined count
- Invites that did not really go out no longer show as "Sent"
- Pin your event's location on the map (GPS) — the "reached?" check-in now works
- Add guests from your contacts, or type a name and number by hand
- Invite SMS goes from your own phone, not a paid service
- OTP fills in and verifies automatically
- The bottom navigation no longer disappears on event screens
- Larger text and better Hindi throughout, so elders can use it comfortably
