In an era where most users rely on smart TVs for streaming, it is quite disappointing that this service does not support major brands such as LG or Samsung. Unfortunately, this critical compatibility issue is not clearly communicated before payment.I subscribed to the service only to discover afterward that it is not compatible with my smart TV. Watching content on a mobile phone is not a viable alternative, especially for movies, and defeats the purpose of a subscription-based streaming platform. When I contacted their support team, not only was there a lack of responsiveness, but they also refused a refund, citing a strict no-refund policy after payment — regardless of service usability. Had it been made clear that their platform does not support LG or Samsung smart TVs, I would never have subscribed. This reflects a serious disregard for customer experience and transparency. The lack of clear communication, combined with poor customer support and an inflexible refund policy, gives the impression that the platform is more interested in collecting payments than in providing a reliable service. **Developer response:** To watch all available content, please follow these steps on your TV. Go to the Google Play Store using your TV remote. In the search bar, type AAONXT. You will see two different apps: AAONXT and AAONXT (Android TV). Locate AAONXT (Android TV) and select it. Choose the Uninstall option to remove this version from your TV. Once it is uninstalled, return to the search results and select the AAONXT app (not the Android TV version). Click Install to download and install it. Open the AAONXT app to enjoy all the latest movies, shows, and exclusive content. Note:- We are not available on LG and SAMSUNG TV. Very soon we will be available on these devices. ### 1/5 — No subtitles. Fake certificate *2025-07-30* Watching odia movie means it should also help the audience to learn odia as a language. But there are no subtitles whereas in the license it is mentioned ofia with English subtitles. I am going to raise a complain for writing fake things in ther certificate. Also the app doesn’t have any settings for English subtitles. However, I am writing to express my concern regarding the platform's device compatibility. Currently, the AAO NXT app is unavailable on the official stores for Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen OS) and LG Smart TVs (webOS). As a paying user, I am unable to watch your content on my primary home television, which is a significant disadvantage. Furthermore, I have encountered the following issues: • Screen Mirroring Blocked: When I try to mirror the app from my phone to my Samsung TV, I get a black screen due to DRM restrictions. This leaves me with no way to view the content I am paying for on a large screen. • Technical Suggestion: I understand the need for high-level Digital Rights Management (DRM). However, I suggest your developers implement Google Cast (Chromecast) and Apple AirPlay 2 within the app. These protocols maintain Widevine L1 / FairPlay security while allowing secure streaming to the TV. I kindly request that you prioritize developing native apps for Samsung and LG stores or, at the very least, enable secure casting features. They have managed to ruin the experience on every possible platform. Movies show as “Coming Soon” on JioTV. The iPad app doesn’t support full-screen mode. On JioTV, the app never logs out. And these are just a few of the many issues.
