### 2/5 — Endless updating

*2025-09-26*

I’d like this app better if it didn’t keep updating during the middle of talks. Having to completely log in and go through all the registration screens several times a day gets frustrating.

### 2/5 — The constant logging off is frustrating.

*2024-09-30*

Incredibly frustrating that it logged me out every few minutes through the whole NCE.
If I changed screens for just a moment I had to log back in. Or if I took a photo of a slide, or I got a text message. Sometimes it would say no internet even if there was clearly 5 bars of WiFi internet.
The slides were not able to upload sometimes for the entire duration of the lecture. And then if I went back into it I’d have to reload all slides again. Sometimes they just didn’t ever open up at all.
When it’s working it’s pretty good but I think I had to login 100+ times this week and it’s frustrating. Can it not save our info? Use facial recognition to log in like most other apps? Or stay logged in until you log out or once per 24 hours? That would be appreciated.

### 2/5 — Review

*2024-09-28, version 2.0.2*

Can’t get the full schedule anymore

### 2/5 — Very slow

*2024-09-27*

The app is extremely slow to respond, also freezes frequently, and if snow and “thinking”, generally it gets stuck that way and never resolves requiring reset.

### 3/5 — Bugs

*2023-10-21*

Crashing, not saving notes. Slow to load.

### 1/5 — Buggy!

*2023-10-21, version 2.0.2*

Forces me to login each time and crashes

### 1/5 — Dysfunctional

*2023-10-20, version 2.0.2*

Don’t take notes in the app. They’ll be wiped away when the app closes.

The app gets hung up. It’s slow.

### 2/5 — Stream

*2022-10-08*

The app to live stream events is horrible. Difficult to find impossible to get into live stream events

### 2/5 — Not available for 2021

*2021-10-08, version 1.2.2*

Not able to use it during 2021 AAP virtual conference

### 3/5 — Glitchy

*2019-10-28, version 1.2.2*

Ugh- I just filled out an evaluation and submitted it and it glitched and erased it.

### 2/5 — Non-intuitive. Cumbersome.

*2019-10-28, version 1.2.2*

Very difficult to get to CME credits, even after I went to AAP Information/Help Desk at the NCE for assistance.

### 1/5 — Update for 2019?

*2019-10-08, version 1.2.1*

2019 conference is in approximately 2-3 weeks and the app hasn’t been updated for the New Orleans meeting.
When can we expect this?

### 1/5 — What an insult

*2018-11-25*

An app in isolation, really limits functionality. First, the link to course evaluation is basically to a separate web site. So the app cannot tell you if you have evaluated a course

Second, there is no link to CME credit, which is still a paper and pencil and calculator process. Actually recording the credit is yet a third process. I didn’t try MOC, but suspect it was just as bad.

No warning if you are selecting overlapping courses, and no logic to resolve conflicts by suggestions for repeating courses. The exact repeats have to be chosen again.

The only good thing is that if you are savvy enough you can access the same information across devices.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App still stinks

*2025-09-28*

Very laggy, keeps restarting if you swap apps, crashes often. App continues to disappoint year after year

### 1/5 — Not great

*2025-09-28*

Does not load consistently, crashes frequently. No way to export/save slides as last year

### 1/5 — App experience

*2025-09-27*

Difficult to tell what is virtual and slides sometimes load other times don't

### 1/5 — Access to livestream sessions

*2024-09-30, version 2.0.2*

I am having tremendous difficulty accessing the livestream events. Definitely something to repair for future conventions

### 1/5 — Slow

*2024-09-30*

There are so many things in this app, but it’s glitchy - just trying to get to my schedule is a multi-step, likely-to-freeze process that is highly frustrating. Bring back the little paper book that doesn’t glitch.

### 1/5 — Login every time open aap

*2024-09-29*

I have to log in every time I open the app. Front screen is too busy.
Not easy to navigate.

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2024-09-29*

A glitchy nightmare that is constantly logging out, getting stuck on a blank screen, and freezing.

The app is OK when it is functioning. However, room changes are often not reflected in it, a lot of slides have not been uploaded, and favoriting oral and poster abstracts should link up into the my schedule section because it is very challenging to know what to be where if you want to go to abstracts and plenary sessions.

### 1/5 — Eats battery

*2023-10-23, version 2.0.2*

This thing consumes battery like there is no tomorrow. It is like it’s mining bitcoin. Or computing the national debt.

### 1/5 — “Improving User Experience: The Need for Streamlined Login Options”

*2023-10-23*

The app constantly requires signing in and out, making it cumbersome to use. It would greatly benefit from features like a “Save Password and Email” button or Face ID integration for more seamless user experience.

### 1/5 — Not friendly

*2023-10-22, version 2.0.2*

Takes me out every time, for the first time since I’ve been using the app u have to re enter every time with my ID as it was the first time

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best Tool For Conferences

*2019-11-08*

Best tool I’ve used for notes at a conference. It allows you to write notes next to the presenters slides. This is great.

**Developer response:** Hi JHM60 , thank you for such a great rating/ review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed having these features available to enhance your event experience. Best wishes, CadmiumCD.

### 5/5 — AAP app rocks

*2019-10-28, version 1.2.2*

Great app. Very user friendly.

### 5/5 — Excellent app!

*2018-11-10*

Excellent app! Easy to use and loved being able to tag slides and take notes! This will make accessing info after conference easy and will more likely affect practice change-knowledge into action. Only problem was MOST of presentations that I attended at AAP this year did NOT have presentations posted at the time of the session. Makes a great app such as this futile.

### 5/5 — AAP app

*2018-11-02, version 1.1*

Excellent tool

### 4/5 — Great application for navigating the conference

*2025-09-27*

Great for note taking and organization of lectures, but occasionally crashing. I appreciate having it add these programs to the calendar to easily monitor where to go next on my schedule.

### 4/5 — Helpful app

*2018-11-05*

Changes I would recommend is to be able to see slides while writing note on the side.

Loved being able to mark my favorites and then see it on my itinerary.

Would like to check off the lectures that I attended on CME form in app and then be able to submit it to licensing or print it.

### 4/5 — Needs a handout update

*2018-11-03*

You get 5 stars from me if presenters post their latest slide handouts. Too many presenters have not posted. I’m looking at you telehealth and social media presentations.

### 3/5 — Lenta slow

*2025-09-27, version 2.0.4*

Lenta no dice cuando se repite la conferencia salió tarde

### 3/5 — AAP conference app review

*2024-09-28, version 2.0.2*

App is very slow and glitchy and requires constant reopening

### 3/5 — Too slow

*2023-10-25*

It’s too slow. It freezes up frequently.
