### 3/5 — Cromcast?

*2025-08-27, version 2.2*

I really need this app to have a cromcast option as iPhone doesn’t work with Google tvs

### 4/5 — Airplay button is hidden by close button

*2024-07-22, version 2.1.587*

I have an IPhone SE and the close button is hiding the AirPlay button in the video player. Also when the app goes into background, I don’t always get the correct playback status when I come back. (It also doesn’t mark the session as completed after I resume and finish the session). Otherwise, app and content are great.

### 3/5 — Where did all the training sessions go?

*2023-11-01*

I subscribed specifically for more of the coach Akin boot camp sessions, and it appears they removed most of them in the past week. Is this temporary? I have the mirror, where I discovered AARMY and Akin, and downloaded this app for more options. Where did they all go? I don’t have a cycle, so if this is the new layout, I’ll probably cancel. Hope to see the Akin boot camp sessions added back soon, and I’ll move review back to a 5 star.

### 4/5 — Cameraman please stay focus on the sequences.

*2023-10-16, version 2.1.562*

I love using the AARMY app for my on-demand cycling workouts and the trainers are carrying out the sequences well however I wish the cameraman would stay focused on the sequence, especially when it gets complicated. I feel each time the moves get slightly complicated, the cameraman would either re-direct his focus to the team or the side of the trainer where it would become really hard for those using the app to follow. I’m an advance athlete and the moves are not hard… but I need a good visual to follow it well.

### 3/5 — Can’t clearly hear instructor over the music

*2021-04-19, version 2.0.612*

Workouts are great! However it can be difficult to hear the cues and what worlds the instructors are saying as the music overpowers.

A time clock on the screen would also be great so we know how long certain movements are on duration or as a means to stay in a exercise longer.

### 5/5 — Wow wow wow

*2020-11-06, version 2.0.191*

AARMY you are one of a kind. Never go away. I love you so much!!!

### 5/5 — THE BEST

*2020-10-19, version 2.0.156*

Whether you take the class online or in person, expect to work hard, sweat, and be pushed to new limits. Every coach is phenomenal and knows how to motivate you even through a screen and 3000 miles away. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

### 5/5 — AARMY is spectacular

*2020-10-14, version 2.0.135*

I stumbled across AARMY on IG during the COVID19 lockdowns. I’ve tried multiple at-home fitness options and AARMY is the very best I have found because it’s actually challenging. However, it’s easy to modify the workouts to make them easier as fitness and strength dictate. I love these workouts, I connect with the instructors, they each bring different vibes. I look forward to doing the AARMY workouts. The app gives me the flexibility I need, AARMY pushes me to be better.

The app itself is very well-designed and very user friendly. I use my iPad to do the workouts and it’s problem-free. The filters allow me to easily find the type of workout I am looking for on any given day. The video and sound quality are excellent - sometimes on IG I had a hard time hearing what the instructors were saying, the app and new video format has resolved that issue. I am healthier and stronger because of AARMY.

### 4/5 — Chrome cast support please!

*2020-10-02, version 2.0.92*

Air play still isn’t working for me. Please add chrome cast support! Love the workouts especially boot camp and various workout lengths for a beginner athlete like me!

### 5/5 — Passionate fitness app like no other.

*2020-09-19, version 2.0.56*

This has become my go to covid workout app. It’s only been out a month or so. For a just released app, the quality is amazing. New content comes out almost daily! They spend just as much time getting your mind right, as getting you stronger and fit. You are watching seamless execution of their dreams, while you feel you are along for the ride and part of the team. They pour their heart and soul into this and you don’t want to let them down. They are working to unleash your inner athlete that they know we all have inside ourselves. The right app for the right time. Bootcamps and Cycling at this point. However, I’ve been running with the cycling classes. I hope to take an in person class when this Covid mess ends and meet these great instructors in person. Cant wait to see what’s next. If you want to take the time to enjoy the process, this is the app for you.

### 5/5 — BEST FITNESS APP!!!!

*2020-09-17, version 2.0.56*

I feel like if I’m in the room with the coaches when I’m working out!

### 5/5 — Best workout EVER

*2020-09-17, version 2.0.56*

I’ve circled around with the different fitness apps (peloton, Nike training, etc) but nothing compares to AARMY. The best instructors with such high quality content, it feels like I’m actually in the studio!! By far the best

Highly recommend

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App malfunctions constantly

*2026-05-13, version 3.02*

Trying to pay and it won’t accept Apple Pay. Issues with the app tracking which workouts I’ve completed. Crashes often. Needs updating for sure.

### 1/5 — The app is not working

*2026-02-25, version 3.0*

Ever since they do the app update. It stopped working. They need to fix that ASAP.

### 1/5 — Loved Workouts Hated Disfunctionality

*2022-11-25, version 2.1.448*

Fun workouts with motivational instructors and good music, but the app constantly took me to a website where my workouts wouldn’t track properly so I couldn’t move onto the next work out in a series. The app doesn’t work on my iPad. Half the time the workouts wouldn’t load…such a shame but free YouTube workout videos are more reliable.

Most of the favorable reviews seem fake…just saying…

### 1/5 — Limited functionality app

*2022-01-20, version 2.1.317*

Good classes unfortunately hindered by a very low quality app.
Does not work well on iPad, does not cast/mirror to tv.

### 1/5 — Does not mirror to TV Using Apple devices

*2021-03-28, version 2.0.574*

I think this is a great app but because I am visually challenged I prefer to watch on my TV instead of my phone or iPad. Whenever I try to mirror from Apple phone 11 to Apple TV it won’t mirror. I paid subscriptions 2x each times cancelling and renewing thinking it would update but it didn’t. I removed the app and reinstall but still don’t work. When it does show on tv it show a clip of advert instead of the workout class that is playing on my phone. Please fix this glitch.

### 2/5 — Keeps having issues and no customer service

*2026-03-03, version 3.0*

The workouts are very good. But the app has issues often and i am unable to train online for days. I contact customer service and no one seems to care. This is an expensive app. I decided to not renew my membership and went with another
app

### 2/5 — Used to love.. lacking now

*2023-09-10, version 2.1.562*

Absolutely loved this app until they stopped posting daily workouts. It’s 40 a month and not one new workout has been posted in months

### 2/5 — Lack of direction

*2023-05-15, version 2.1.509*

Wanted to love this, as the cycle workouts are the right kind of intensity and arm movement that most programs lack in. However, the cycling introduction is utterly useless. Thought it would set up the arm movements used in the videos, but it’s just trainer Akin going faster and faster with increased resistance for 12 minutes. As expected, the first actual workout had arm movements that you’re just supposed to know. Would have been fine, but there was no warm-up, no verbal direction on RPM, etc. Seems like this would work great in-person, but isn’t fleshed out enough for on-demand. Will try it again a year from now.

### 2/5 — App Compatibility

*2020-09-08, version 2.0.28*

Beware this app is not compatible with an HDMI/lighting adapter in order to connect iPhone or iPad to television

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work with my Apple TV!

*2020-08-20, version 2.0.7*

I tried airplaying this on my Apple TV and it didn’t work! I tried with two different devices and no luck :( hope they fix this bug

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So good

*2026-02-25, version 3.0*

This guy and team just get it right. My fitness journey hit a bit of a wall since I’m spending more time in the country this winter than in the city. I don't have the ideal gym setup here but it ultimately does not matter. The routines and energy beaming from the screen keep me coming back regularly and I can’t wait to take an in-person class. Lastly, in all my life of owning the Iphone I have never submitted an app review for anything let alone a fitness app. Thanks, everyone!

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2024-02-12, version 2.1.562*

The classes are tough, the instructors are motivating, you will become a better rider taking these classes. I’ve tried many cycling apps, and classes, but these are the best. In a complete league of their own. My only feedback is the app itself. It can be difficult to navigate. Finding a series you’re doing isn’t always easy. I’d also love a feature to let me plan my weeks rides ahead of time.

Please create an Apple TV app, this would make things so much easier instead of AirPlay to the TV.

### 5/5 — AARMY is a great tool to have in your life!

*2022-11-27, version 2.1.448*

I can’t even begin! And there are no words to describe the joy this app brings me. I get daily doses of mental and physical conditioning. I learned about AARMY in early 2021, I wished I would have started when COVID locked us up in 2020 because this would made the entire year more manageable, but now that I am here, I am not letting AARMY go from my life. It has become part of my daily routine. You will love it!

### 5/5 — Best Fitness App but needs IPAD support

*2022-09-01, version 2.1.448*

Every workout I do I feel absolutely amazing and ready to take on the world afterwards. The coaches and the way this app is set up has really motivated me to stay on top of my goals and has enabled me to reach new fitness levels I didn’t think I could when starting. The one issue is the app only seems to work well on iPhone and when trying to use my iPad as it has a bigger screen the video still stay in the small iPhone format which is really annoying As sometimes I have to put my glasses on to see what exercise it’s next. Please can you do an update to support IPAD x

### 5/5 — La mejor app de entrenamiento!

*2022-01-28, version 2.1.330*

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2021-11-17, version 2.1.222*

I love AARMY! The music is always great. There is an option to see all the music that was used in the workout!

### 5/5 — Good workout apps!

*2021-04-15, version 2.0.612*

I really enjoy the spinning class. I used to do spinning class with peloton they are good, but AARMY are even better! The only downside is the apps could apple mirror the stream it on TV.

### 5/5 — AMAZING Quality & COMMUNITY

*2021-03-11, version 2.0.512*

This App is top level quality, the workouts are beyond anything I’ve experienced. The coaches draw you in and are so encouraging, motivating, and they care about the community they are creating. You need to join now!

### 5/5 — Unbelievable! The only at-home fitness solution that works

*2020-12-10, version 2.0.283*

As someone who came to fitness relatively late, being able to exercise regularly was essential to both my physical and mental health. But I’ve alway been terrible at motivating myself outside of the gym where there’s nothing to stop me wandering off mid-starjump 🙄 I was really worried when the first lockdown happened but finding Aarmy has been a lifesaver. For me, I need to connect with the intensity and energy of an in-person gym experience, and all of the other (many) brands I tried came nowhere near what Aarmy was offering on Instagram. As soon as the app launched I signed up unquestioningly in the first hour - the unparalleled balance of excellent production values and real-life humanity, connection and personality make the experience come even more alive and puts this programme in an absolute league of its own. I used to hate cycle practice in my gym - so boring, so uncomfortable, so repetitive - the Aarmy practices are the total opposite and I actually find myself looking forward to them and how they push me to my limits. All I can say to anyone reading this is: Try it - you’ll soon know if it’s for you or not. But if it is, and you connect with the intensity and personality of Aarmy, then you’ve found something that doesn’t just equal an in-person fitness class, it surpasses it by a million miles. Needless to say, I gave up my gym membership and purchased a bike of my own and haven’t looked back.
