I love the design, the education it provides, and the detailed tracking of my moods. Sometimes it’s hard for me to keep up with how I feel day to day and I love how easy it is with this app. The detailed questions to help track what my body is doing day to day, and it just takes a minute or two out of my day. I feel like once you try this app you won’t look at another period app again. 07/26/26 I have to add an update here. Seeing AI become integrated into this app is so disappointing ESPECIALLY because this app was originally marketed for its privacy. Every period I’ve ever logged is just gone for good. It’s really frustrating to have to start all over and I have no way to retrieve that info. The app even said “welcome back” when I signed in but it behaved as if I created a new account and, again, did not have any of my previously logged periods. But girl. I am so tired of the swiping! I love when they add something new I’m able to track, but adding more prompts I have to swipe “yes” or “no” on is TAXING!! If I accidentally swipe wrong on the last card I have to do it all over again! Is there some option where I can just quickly toggle a checklist? And if not, when will that be an option?? I want to track these things but I do not have time to swipe through 10 prompts per category! How can I fix this? ### 3/5 — Love the app, hate the use of generative AI *2026-02-12, version 14.21* i’ve tried many cycle tracking apps and this one has been my favorite by far, so much so that i subscribed to the vip tier for a month. i then noticed that when i was looking at my personalized insights, it was being generated on the spot. I dug a little deeper and as far as I can tell the AI is only used in the vip tier. I will not be subscribing to the vip tier again as i do not support generative AI in any form for many reasons. please remove the generative AI from your app. there are many other ways to create algorithms to provide personalized advice and insights. ### 2/5 — So many ads. *2026-02-05, version 14.19* Aavia was a great tracker until a year or so ago when they started doing pop up ads for random services like pilates, a VIP subscription to aavia, supplements, etc. I just want to track my period. I also had this weird experience where, after recording my day, it would save but jump to last year’s calendar. Not a big deal… but if I’m tracking my cycle in July 2026, why is it taking me back to March 2025? Ultimately, I deleted the app because the predictions became very off in the last few months. For the most part, I have a normal 28-day cycle. Over the last few months, it’s been predicting that my cycle will be five weeks long between periods. I’m a busy working person, and I need an app that is straightforward and accurate. Aavia just does not meet that criteria for me. ### 1/5 — App Code Sucks *2026-06-02, version 15.10* I used this app all of 2025 without issues. After their big update requiring users to have IOS 18 and up it destroyed every day use of this app. I updated my IOS, I made all the updates to the app and the app will still not work. It was advertised as a safe, secure, women-powered app. Now, it’s AI everywhere - and it sure shows with how buggy it is. What I eat won’t matter when AI takes all the water to grow it! Partner text alerts rarely work, customer service rarely gets back to you now, and all the gen AI stuff is not only off putting, it’s extremely buggy. Sometimes you’ll get recs, sometimes you won’t. I paid for a lifetime of this app before it went downhill. Swiping is buggy, and half the stuff on here is just a waste of time. What a waste of money. Seems like they cashed out like everyone else these days. I found it because I was looking for a cycle tracker that wouldn’t share my information, and haven’t looked back! It even lets you know if your cycle’s patterns are irregular, and provides resources for reproductive and mental health, including forums to connect with others on. Depending on my cycle, it tells me what my “battery” might be like, and makes me feel less delusional when I’m feeling extra fatigued on a day my cycle is expected to make me feel that way. The customer service is great, too! I was logged out because my account was made anonymously, and it wasn’t connected to my email, but they were able to fix it super easily! The new updates are incredibly thoughtful and genuinely useful, constantly improving in ways that help women better understand our cycles. As cheesy as this sounds lol, but this app has honestly changed my life and my perspective for the better—helping me be kinder to myself, especially during my luteal phase, and understand me & my cycles more deeply overall.
