But it would be nice if there was connectivity with the increasingly popular Athlon Rangecraft chronograph. And Apple Watch support for DOPE cards to be displayed. In fact, my only challenge is that it doesn’t seem to have any Minox reticules in the library. I also know the Nikon scopes are older, but all of those in my extended family are still in use. I did the paid upgrade and will renew if AB Quantum get all the major scope manufacturer’s reticules in the library ### 3/5 — Crashing and Recovery *2026-06-20, version 3.7.3* I just purchased the Pro mode bcz I have both Kestrel WEZ and calypso, and app was constantly switching between the pro and ultralite modes. Every time it switched my targets would get messed up to default. After using pro version for a while, the app started crashing. Now it just stays on the AB Quantum startup screen with the black background and never loads any further. I have already tried rebooting my iPad, but it did not help. At this point, the only thing I can think of is deleting and reinstalling the app. However, I am concerned that if I delete the app, I may lose all of my data, including profiles, targets, sectors, and other information I have already entered. Could you please advise what I should do? The 2A industry, generally, lags in tech by a large margin, but this is absolutely solid to modern app standards. The broad execution is excellent, but it’s the details where I’m impressed. For instance, the WEZ uses Monte Carlo simulations to ascribe P-sub H, rather than simple probability distributions. The inclusion of “Spotter” is fantastic (and likely underutilized by users), it’s like having a PhD ballistician at your side to explore and explain every aspect of ballistics. It provides instant expert analysis on complex topics like aerodynamic jump and offers real-time troubleshooting for connected hardware like Kestrel and Garmin devices. By utilizing radar-verified Custom Drag Models, it ensures your firing solutions are mathematically superior to any standard approximation. Also can you please add Apple Watch option so you can use that as HUD? ### 5/5 — Excellent Software scienceofaccuracy *2026-03-20, version 3.6.0* Since i've bought my SIG Kilo3K ballistic rangefinder last year and downloaded the Quantum app besides BDX,i really fell in love with the seamless connection,data stability and diversity and of course unmatched precision on ballistics and ease of use.This software is so useful that,even when you sitting on the couch at home you can really learn about a lot of things about shooting & ballistics.This really drove me to a point that i ask myself the question when i'm thinking about buying another gear:"Is this thing have Applied Ballistics ?" ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Crash Again *2026-08-13, version 3.7.4* After the latest update is still crashing. Here are the steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Synchronize with the Bluetooth device (Kestrel WEZ). 2. Go to the Devices page. 3. Swipe up and force close AB Quantum from iOS ( try 2-3 times). 4. Open AB Quantum again. The app will not load. It just stuck on the AB Quantum startup screen. The latest update did not fix this issue. Please have the development team check it again. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2026-08-08, version 3.7.4* It's always something, sometimes the app won't open for weeks, paying for a membership for nothing is always a problem with the app ### 1/5 — It crashed due to a bug. *2026-06-29* After the update, the program froze and became unusable. I need to see in the range card what the drop is from zero , eg at 100 yards the drop is 0.0 inches, at 150 yards it is 1.1 inches etc. The app’s definition of drop is total drop, which is not useful. Also, the Leica 2800 should be a supported device, as it has Bluetooth compatibility, but it isn’t. ### 1/5 — Accessibility: 0% *2026-03-15* Just trying to read the T&Cs and Privacy Policy made me crazy.
