### 2/5 — Fun, but a processing monster

Almost unusable because it requires so much processing power. When used in AUM, it maxes out quickly and I can’t really do much with it, and that’s only if I have 1 track.

**Developer response:** Working on an update that reduces CPU use considerably, give me a couple of days and I'll push the update :)

Has a lovely, unique timbre compared to other reverbs. Although a minimal design allows little manipulation of its parameters, the viscosity control and wide XY screen that occupies most of the UI, lets you explore huge variations of shape-shifting, pitch bending reverberation with the smallest finger (stylus) strokes. As a standalone, put on headphones, unmute the mic & get sucked into new realms of sonically augmented reality.

This is one of my go to reverbs and I’m really picky with the reverbs I use. It sounds empty and spacious without being tinny or harsh. Highly recommended.

There are a lot of reverbs on the market now, but this app is something special.  The ability to set space and time separately opens up new dimensions for creativity.  The fact that you can automate all settings via MIDI also gives the app further added value in terms of creativity.

A very simple and intuitive interface coupled with imaginative effects make this one of those must have plugins for ipad musicians. I love the fact that you can automate the parameters in your DAW/host.

vortEX X is fairly easy to use and takes everything you throw at it to another dimension! The controls are minimalistic, the possibilities almost infinite. Having a big control surface for touch and smooth transitions makes it absolutely amazing for performing!

I like this pad approach with these apps. I use AbVortex a lot compared to other apps. It's a high quality effect. I especially like using this when making soundscapes
